Your audience sure is one with an eye for detail. I’m not too familiar with Catan (I’ve played 1, maybe 2 games of it) but if it were something I knew better, I’d do the same.

In my head canon, unicorns and alicorns lose their magic in proportion to how drunk they are. Since those ponies almost always use their magic to lift glasses, mugs, etc I think this evolved to stop them getting too drunk - as they get drunker and their magic weaker, a greater portion of whatever they’re drinking goes down their shirt, and less into their mouth. Effectively self-regulating.

The first one had an error. I reported it for merging.

It would be interesting to see Glimmy all tipsy, though. Just don’t drink and magic!

I don’t think it’d be wise to get a powerful alicorn and an equally (or near enough) powerful unicorn drunk. Especially if things are going to get livelier later.

Glimmer’s pose in the 7th frame seems to have come out particularly well. Every now and again the angles, lighting, and expression just really come together.
