Even if it is canon, I’m just gonna pretend it isn’t and that RD is bi rather than straight lesbian. I actually could live with AppleDash being canon despite me not shipping it, since this was apparently Ashleigh Ball’s request to make the two a couple even though some may think Soarin would have made a better mate or Spitfire. That’s the wonderful thing about fandoms. One person might think a character is gay, while another might see them as straight.
 
I’m also wondering why people thought the mane six are teenagers when it’s quite obvious they are adults with a teenage maturity, hence why when they go to the human world they come out as teens. My theory is the youngest (Pinkie) was 19 when the show first started then 69 during the epilogue. But that begs the question: How are the CMC not middle aged?
 
Also I LOVE that image Ashleigh posted. Though being perfectly honest,I would have preferred to see both in dresses rather than RD in a tux.

This talk of AppleDash reminds me of when Ashleigh Ball sent this…

Plus the way they were talking about doing the chores seemed to imply to me at least that they live together. The way Fluttershy talks about Discord “going away for the weekend to an O&O convention” also seems to carry this undertone of them living together, especially since she arrives from Discord’s dimension.
 
To me, I think it’s obvious: Appledash and Discoshy are canon.

I must ask though, I’m actually pretty surprised the EG characters haven’t finished school yet. It’s been nearly 7 years and they’re still in high school. Give FIM credit, they aged their characters. And it was neat seeing at least two of the mane six (assuming Applejack and Dashie are a couple in the finale) in a lesbian relationship. It really goes to show how open this show has gotten and while I think Applejack and Rainbow should have stayed single, it’s nice to see people finally accepting RD as at the very least, bisexual.
 
But she’s still my favourite tomboy and I love her like a girlfriend.

And yeah Pony Fluttershy was confirmed adult in FLutter Brutter when her younger brother was already too old to live with parents, so Fluttershy also need to be an adult. Not to mention Angel saying that she want to marry an adult person while she’s a kid would not make sense and would never go pass the Hasbro

I wonder if EQG staff would make fluttercord canon if they saw the ending and were able to prepare a finale for Equestria Girls?

He wasn’t even seen in that episode outside of the montage with every past character ever. Meanwhile, Rainbow Dash and Applejack arrived together and we hear a brief conversation of which one of them does the chores.
