If OP’s description is what they’re actually trying to say, it’s not even about the age gap. They literally think fluttershy is still a minor.

I do wish people would quit hitting the age gap so damn hard. I think it’s kind of icky too, but both Flutters and Discord are adults so calling it pedophilia is an immense over-exaggeration.
 
There’s always a concern in such a relationship with such a large age gap that the younger person is being taken advantage of by the older person, but I don’t feel like that’s true.
 
I will add on to this that I really wish people who ship Discord with anyone remember that his design intentionally evokes an old man. I rarely see human Discord depicted in shipping older than his early 50’s at his most aged.

If anything, Pony Twilight is the creeper here for having a romantic fling - albeit a brief one - with teenager Flash Sentry. And we know she’s a grown mare; The show calls her/the others adults on several occasions.

I want to know when the term diluted so much that now for some people any considerable age difference between partners, regardless if one of them is a prepubescent child or not, is “pedophilia”.
