You’re probably right that it’s a vocal minority (that I assume has significant overlap with furries who like to flip out over feral art).
 

 
I don’t browse FA or EqG art, so I wouldn’t know. I understand the shared attraction to cartoon animals but the communities are really very different. Think about the stereotypical response of accusing a furry of making love to a dog versus accusing a brony of fucking a clydesdale.

lol no. There’s no huge group of furries. Have you even seen the amount of MLP:FIM and EQG fan art on Furaffinity? Come on now. Most of the many bronies I know are furries, too. Hell-the creators of Second Life’s oldest furry community also created the brony community in SL. They run both Luskwood and Trotsdale. There are way more brony/furries in the furry fandom than there are haters.
