The thing is that you have to define your criteria for furry and brony, and since words have no objective meaning, that criteria is not in of itself a fact about the world, it’s based on what you feel is sufficient, what you think is practical, what might be beneficial to you. This difference in criteria from one person to the next might be irreconcilable, so really the entire debate is kind of dumb.
@AspectofBlood21
That’s why they’re hesitant to do a S3 of the current EG because of that if you don’t have the toys to promote it for the three specials they never have the toys to promote it

Not all the boy brands though. Nor are all the board games. Just select brands. Power Rangers, GI Joe, etc…all performed poorly in 2017-18, and board games are not doing very well either.
I mean, nothing here in the states is doing very well.
Hasbro’s issue is not brands. It is economy, which means the solution is a marketing overhaul, rather than a brand overhaul. You dont need a new product, you need to convince your target market to buy it.
Been a Fan of Anthro-Characters and financial media since I was young. In the 90s, everything looked the same to me. I found “Modern” theamed stuff so boring. and Human characters so repetitive and lame.
I love Ancient\Fantesy or Futuristic\Sci-Fy and characters who where Animals or better, Anthropometric. Why? Simple: IT’S FICTION! When I wanted to watch and cartoon, movie, or read a book or play video game I wanted something as far away from every day life as possible because I didn’t see the fun in fiction but it’s all based around “Real world”.
Growing up I LOVED The Road Rovers. Man that cartoon was cool, too bad it was canceled.
but when MLP FIM came out? It was that same familiar feeling again. I was a fan early on. I love MLP but I’m also a Furry. I just wish both of the communites I care about would get along more… :(
