Well for the sake of fairness I think I should say that I do think that is someone involved on the show who didn’t really like the games much.that being Andrzej Sapkowski the books’ author (not as a writer because he don’t want to)
From I could make out on-line about Han Solo’s return, he’s going to show up in either Rey’s or Kylo-ren’s memories as an flashback so that makes sense.
Maybe he’ll show up in both of their memories but I don’t know all of the details. All I know is that Han Solo will make an cameo in flashback memories and that’s it. Disney is keeping the rest of the info about Han Solo’s return an secret so we’re going to have to watch ‘Rise of Skywalker’ to find out what kind of role Han Solo plays in the movie this time.
Yeah, sounds like overreaction to me.
a bit off Topic but I do remember people are accusing the person in charge of the upcoming Witcher show of not making the games. she did say on Twitter that she did like the games but the shows not based on the games but the actual book series
I guess you have to be kinda prepared for that kinda thing. Ian Flynn whom was a fellow Sonic fan in his youth, and writer of the Sonic comics sense 2006 gets alot of crap too, and alot of Sonic SatA.M. fans are demonizing him, and labeling him a “SatA.M. hater,” (even though Ian LIKES that old Sonic show, and used it’s characters alot during his run on the Archie series) and trying to blame him for why the SatA.M. cartoon Sonic characters aren’t in the newer IDW Sonic comic.
(Sega won’t let them use any of the old “classic era” characters for now, not even old game ones like Nack, Bean, Bark, Mighty, or Ray.)
Edited
must have been really heartbreaking for them. imagine getting a starring role in a franchise that you liked only for the fandom to treat you like crab for doing your job(pretty much Mark Hamill thoughts on that)
That’s pretty nasty, way worse then the MLP fans whom bug the show staff on Twitter. (I actually kinda liked Rose, even if she was basically an audience-surrogate.)
Poor Jake Lloyd got bullied so much for being kid Darth Vader, (not just by SW fans, mind you) he actually broke down, and threw all his SW merchandise in the trash, and felt the movie ruined his life.
Later on though, he got over it, and he’s a better sport about it though, and has attended conventions. So things do get better.
to be honest I think the Star Wars fandoms easily one of the worst fandoms ever. I don’t give a rat’s ass how bad I think the new movies are the stuff they do is just unjustified. I remember because people didn’t like a bad character of a rose people verbally assaulted Kelly Marie Tran on social media and then celebrated when she left because of the hate. A similar thing happened to Jake Lloyd as well
SW fans get upset over anything that isn’t the original trilogy, much like Sonic fans.
I mean, the new/current movies aren’t perfect, but still enjoyable.
@northern haste
I meant like a flashback, or something.
and people got pissed off over the midichlorians
Assuming you’re talking about palpatine it should be a force ghost.
Also apparently time travel is a thing in Star Wars in the cartoons(I still need to catch up on rebels)
Msybe he appears in events before he was killed.
first palpatene now this? who else is coming back? boba fet? jaba? jar jar?
Yes, they actually confirmed it on-line. HARRISON FORD WILL BE BACK AS HAN SOLO IN ‘THE RISE OF SKYWALKER’!
Because in the end of the day acting is a job to pay the bills
Rather picked an actor who actually LIKES his freakin job as an actor…
And as I said ford never actually like Star Wars. Plus he’s over 70 years old now
As I said, I assume Ford didn’t wanna do it anymore. Same for Mark Hamill.
Either that, or they just always have to kill off the old man characters.
I disagree, as I wasn’t really bothered by it, and it wrapped up some loose ends from the previous movie.
The Luke milk drinking scene is the only thing I’d take out…
Serving as another reminder why drama is often worse than what the drama is actually about
I think ALOT of people what the last jedi to be redone again
Many probably did. (Though, for me somebody already spoiled it, but admittedly I wasn’t too surprised.)
I will give the new SW movies some credit though for building up other things into looking like they’re doing something similar to the other trilogies’ tropes, but then pulling a bait-and-switch tricking the viewer. So they have some clever twists I’ll admit.
