I can’t believe no-one’s yet pointed this out… Badumsquish, weight is measured in newtons, not kilograms! Mass is measured in kilograms and yes, it does matter because weight is the mass multiplied by gravity so that’s a factor of ~9.81 in the calculation! Also, while a less major issue, it’s not good form to use multiple letters to refer to a single value in an equation as when multiple letters are next to each other, it is assumed that they are each individual values to he multiplied together.

As for the formula, the second half is the Du Bois formula for calculating human body surface area, while the first one is one I sort of bullshitted.

A human’s mouth only needs to be opened to about 0.0004 m}2 (about four square centimeters, the size of a large postage stamp) to breathe uninhibited. That is a hug of a potential whopping 99.979% coverage of warm thick living loving being clinging tenaciously to you.
