… Except it’s been confirmed that every other race has absolutely no issue farming themselves, and it doesn’t seem to actually speed up the process, making it more or less a useless ability. Not arguing it COULD be a very useful form of magic, but the show never seems to do anything with it beyond the odd background mention on occasion.

Well to be fair, the sketch you mentioned (and boy do I remember that one) involved a bit more gore than I suspect this will. This looks more like they just vanished.
 
I do question how well a missing poster will work though. Do they really think that somepony is going to come across two random wings on the street somewhere and return them like a lost wallet? Or for that matter, would you trust anyone that showed up claiming to have some wings for you to identify? Because how many do they have if they need you to identify if they’re yours? There are a thousand questions that possibility raises, none of them good.
 
Oh well… I’m sure this will end up being something cute instead of terrifying body horror. You know what might be fun? If Discord borrowed them briefly so Scootaloo could experience what it was like to actually fly like Rainbow Dash.

Seriously, I mostly stopped watching Robot Chicken after that one sketch where a Rainbrow Brite-lookin’ muhfuh captures a Pegasus, this is LAUREN FAUST HOW HORRIFYING territory.
