How so? I mean, she can’t grow plants like they can, but when’s that ever been useful? And it’s not like the show has ever actually put any serious substance into the whole superior physical strength or stamina thing. That just seems to get dropped any time the plot requires it.

If they go into races at all, I expect the opposite, disregarding that magical removal of wings necessarily makes her an earth pony as much as painting a crow makes it a cheetah.

Well, to be fair, Rainbow Dash has lived almost her entire life up in the sky. Being stuck on the ground would be intolerable, especially since she doesn’t have that same kind of affinity with it as Earth ponies do.

In all seriousness though, really hope this doesn’t devolve into “being an earth pony is terrible!” or something alone those lines, beating the reader over the head with their lack of any unique abilities.

Ok two things here I really hope it’s not Discord (or an extended dream) because that is way to obvious. I also have this feeling at some point in this Rainbow is going to complain about being basically an Earth Pony or something to that effect and AJ or Pinkie is going to say something about it. In fact if that doesn’t happened I will be pretty shocked.
