it seems like a cop out, and even if Starlight did try to turn evil, it would probably last for about a couple of seconds before the mane six blast her with the friendship blast.
 
And even if its not directly at the start, and she slowly shows hints of it, Twilight of someone will probably pick up on it, and give her a talking down or something.

They don’t have the Elements of Harmony anymore, and I’m certain that Rainbow Power can’t exactly “reform” you. (Plus I get the feeling that Rainbow Power was just a one-off event)
 
And Starlight’s reformation was a cop-out.
 
And even if Twilight and friends suspected anything, Starlight would probably lie to them, and trick them into thinking that she’s just feeling “moody” and “unsure of herself”, to hide the fact that there’s more to her personal issues beyond feeling “moody” and “unsure of yourself”. Some people are just really good at being convincing liars, and hiding secrets about themselves from others.

Also, I want one of the new episodes to be like Sailor Mouth. Just replace the dolphin chirp with horse neighs.

I’m not entirely sure if Starlight is able to pull of a Lesson Zero like Twilight did. Tara Strong’s unique legendary voice acting was what made that moment priceless.

Uh…. Kelly Sheridan is a pretty decent voice actress herself too. I can imagine her pulling some nice tricks.

Oh yeah! Sango from Inuyasha and Diana Lombard from Martin Mystery.
 
She has also voiced Ponies in previous generations since G1. It also appears she voices Sassy Saddles, who’d most likely reappear as supporting secondary in future episodes.
 
Also, a ton of Barbie. She IS barbie. Voice wise.

I don’t know if it’s a coincidence or out of intention that Starlight Glimmer bears a striking resemblance to Sango. But I see a lot of potentials. What if Sunburst turns out to be a semi-perverted character like Miroku is?

Or Sango’s brother, Kohaku. Who was pretty much brainwashed by Naraku. Maybe that can explain why Starlight lost contact with him. Sunburst might have fallen under some malicious spell.

The reason why I dig Sango x Miroku is the fact that they seem to hate each other on the outside at first, but gradually develop feelings for each other. Sango still gets annoyed by Miroku’s perverted antics, yet she likes him for who he is.

I need to watch the series again. It’s been far too long and now with the reminder that Starlight was voice by Sango? Oh yes. Honestly were the “strongest” couple in the show. Grope, Slap, nap, repeat.
