A couple years ago. People were always jubilant to have new characters in the cast. Some people were even open to the idea of Trixie becoming one of the Mane casts. What happened? Why are people sudden;y so against the idea of new characters?

I share that sentiment too. They did rush the thing a bit. And they were doing so well with the finale. I would say the finale had the best pacing of any episodes in the show so far if it wasn’t for the lackluster Glimmer backstory and redemption. Although Glimmer has a beautiful voice at the end song. The song felt a little too “campy” as if it belongs in a baby show type of feeling.

Somehow I feel Glimmer’s reformation would be far more well-received if it weren’t for the final sequence where she joins the mane six and has her redemption skimmed over.

If I had to wager a guess, this is going to be a Skyla season opener. Pinkie Pie Knows can simply not be not followed up.  
Maybe g4 Grogar tries to steal the baby or something.
 
Anyway here are some items for a Bingo:
 
  • New SEASON LONG STORY ARC!, with no relation to previous seasons  
  • Map evolves into a new plot trinket. (but we still don’t know how the magic works)  
  • New mane6/CMC family members introduced (Scootaloo or FS probably)…and they are not completely boring.  
  • “Guys” episode/scene (Mac/Spike/SA/others?)  
  • Babs Seed with cutie mark  
  • seaponies FINALLY  
  • Wonderbolts episode and Dash is STILL not a member by the end of season 6. nor 7.  
  • Spike character development  
  • Starlight returns  
  • Zecora focus  
  • MORE dreamwalker Luna  
  • Rarity & Spike break up  
  • One of the other 6es (equal 4/bg 6/Canterlot 6) returns and plays an important role

I wonder if Twilight’s castle has a dungeon? If it does, she can certain put it to use.
 
Also, in the finale’s Changeling timeline. Chrysalis, who took over much of Equestria, did mention Canterlot having a dungeon.
 
In the present normal timeline. I wonder if it is put into use much. Makes me wonder who, what kind of convicts, are locked up in there?

You are doing absolutely nothing wrong. If someone wants to throw a fit because they dislike what you have to say, then it isn’t particularly worth listening to them in the first place. Not the first time this guy has gotten upset about people daring to have a negative outlook on the topic and I know it won’t be the last.
 
Say what you want and don’t acknowledge trite criticism, just acknowledge the reasoning one gives you when they decide to put forth an actual argument instead of this kind of pettiness:
