It sound like it does, but the inclusion of the a would batta; the japanese word for grasshopper instead of o which would spell battra name as battro. Neither are correct as battra name is a combination of (batt)le and moth(ra), most likely hinting at battra more violent nature.

I still love the Etemon, the rock-and-roll sock monkey, evolves into MetalEtemon as a music pun.
