Actually it goes back to MLParena. Your not far off though. If I remember corectly it was April 1st and the mods played a joke on everyone. Via the censoring of words. So, if you said little it would replace it with moldy. Then pony would be replaced with fart. This had to of been 2011 or so.

My name used to be Saphtalon and then changed it to Abbaheart. After a while new websites like Derpibooru popped up. I was an idiot teenager and I owe it to the moderators of MLParena for my maturity. I joined that forum around 2008 roughly.

Just a reminder that you can get high on moldy bread.

Edit: I didn’t use many pony sites back in the day beyond this one, Ponysquare (a defunct RP site) and Equestria Daily on occasion, so I kept myself limited in pony sites despite being a much bigger Brony in the past than I am now.

The Boomerang channel bumpers will forever be one of my cherished childhood memories. For a channel that was dedicated to rerunning old theatrical shorts from Hanna Barbera that was largely neglected from the main Cartoon Network studio, they went all out on the bumpers inbetween shows and commercials. Seriously, they did not need to go this hard

I loved TV bumpers as a kid! Still do. YTV is a station here in Canada that always had good bumpers, often leaning heavily on the weird/“random” side. Some of it was mildly gross, but as children, that’s the kind of stuff many of us liked!

Oh, we have lots of TV history! CBC, a mixed-media TV and radio conglomerate, is pretty much ground zero over here. As for YTV, it is alongside Teletoon as one of the premiere channels for youth-oriented shows (Animation in the case of both and live action and animation in the case of YTV). Teletoon also had an adult animation block for many years. Not sure if it still does though, since the last time I viewed that channel was a couple of years ago.
