I count petroglyphs. If it has the word glyph in it, it’s writing.

I knew about cave paintings and pictographs (we used to have some Delaware Indian ones here where I live, but they got blasted out to make a bridge back in the 50’s). I was unaware however that they were considered writing the same as cuneiform.

The Sumerians are credited for inventing the first actual written alphabet around the end of the stone age, but there’s cave paintings dating back millennia before it. Primitive pictographs are still a technical form of written language.

It would be. I think a lot of parents and other people would be very upset if they were to ever do such a thing which would end up causing a huge controversy. Plus even if they did went along with something like this, it’s very easy to screw things up in regards to the storyline since they’d probably have to dance around the more adult themes. I think it’s for the best that they don’t delve into that sort of topic.
 
But there’s good news for you. The concept seems to pretty popular as far as fan related content goes so you can find fan art, fan fiction, and fan comics about Chrysalis having a child with Shining rather easily.

Well doing that would either mean that he had an affair or that Chrysalis raped him. I can’t picture Shining doing the former. The latter seems much more possible, especially given what happened in the episode. However, those two choices just don’t seem to be family friendly material so it’s never going to happen.

Also, she could have accepted his charge and turned it into a strength. She’s right there at After Chrysalis year one, with the opportunity to contribute to the still developing culture. He gives himself credit for being born to a society that calcified a long time before he showed up.

She looks like a best looking Reformed Changeling since Thorax.

Eyelashes would suggest she, especially combined with a name that’s a feminine noun in Latin.
