And what we tag as satyrs are actually whatever the obscure term was for them because they’re horse not goat. I don’t see any reason to change the tag from Abyssinian to Cat (Species) or Catfolk unless they start actually being addressed as such when it’s much clearer what it’s representing. Alias them, sure, but I’d argue for it still being the primary tag.

i think “ponified humanized pony” should be aliased to “equestria girls ponified” since that seems to be what it’s mostly used for

Why is them's fightin' herds a purple tag?

It may have been done at one point for the official art/posts coming from the dev team, but it doesn’t make much sense to me, given other tags like fallout equestria are plain-jane green.

I proposed a tag category for fan creations about 6-9 months ago. It was widely approved among the staff, the color pink was chosen for the tags, and then it fell into low-priority development hell and was forgotten about.

Relatably, I was thinking of a tag category for ‘other characters and people’ meaning for like characters from other series and/or real people. But idk if anyone would even like that.

I was thinking like, character from other series eg Shadow The Hedgehog real person eg Pete Wentz and perhaps other franchise eg Digimon. Of course that would cover a LOT of crossovers and ponifications and shit so therefore a ton of tags. :P

Note: I’m not sure if it is intentional or not that the tags (on light mode at least) are close to Celestia’s color scheme.

The lilac purple 3rd from the bottom in this pic is unused.

A tag category for fan series (which for the moment I’m assuming would generally be the “comic:*” and “fanfic:*” tags) does sound very useful.

It does. Quite a bit of Ask Tumblrs, ongoing comics, and fananimations could really use that.
 
Speaking of. What about songs? I noticed that some of the songs in the series (particularly ones from the movie), have their own tags. Shouldn’t they get their own color too?

Maybe I’m overreacting, but does this look grotesque to anyone else?
