When you put it like that, yeah. I meant it as a typical pairing in terms of it being one of those heavily debated ‘‘Who’s Better’’ scenarios, which I’ve seen implemented in numerous forms of media. I feel like fans only seem to just label Dashie and AJ in that category only and it just kinda falls into cliche. For the Rarity/AJ pairing, it feels a bit more compelling since those two are polar opposites and creates a contrasting vibe due to their different styles in enaging in a situation that the other would think differently of. Don’t get me wrong. I enjoy the Appledash pairing. I just feel that the Rarijack pairing feels more organic and interesting. I did enjoy the nod to Fall Weather Friends in the Castle-Mania episode.

While I agree that Rarijack is infinitely superior, I don’t really see why you say AJ-RD is a typical pairing, in the fandom yeah it’s big since it was the first ship to get popular cause of early S1 but in the show, it’s literally not been the focus of an episode since S1, and when it finally got focus as a side thing in Castle-Mania all they did was basically just rehash their Fall Weather Friends dynamic.

Sigh We where so close to a season without a single Rarijack episode.

This should be good. Another AJ-Rarity paring episode, plus the return of Coco! Although I’m not the biggest Rarity fan out there and more of a big AJ lover, I do love their interactions and chemistry together more than the typical AJ-RD pairing. I’ll keep my eyes peeled.

Okay, so “The Lost Treasure of Griffonstone” was a Rainbow Dash and Pinkie Pie episode costarring a side character from an earlier season, Gilda.
 
“Made in Manehattan” is apparently an Applejack and Rarity episode costarring a side character from an earlier episode, Coco Pommel.
 
I’m guessing later this season we’re also getting a Twilight Sparkle and Fluttershy episode costarring who, the Great and Powerful Trixie, maybe?

One rarity episode is too many. This is gonna suck. At least one of them has some raridash.

Now let me ask you something. When would it be smarter for a TV channel to first air a made-for-TV movie? The ass-crack of dawn when people are still waking up and some are still sleeping on the west coast, or during the Family Movie Night primetime timeslot when the most viewers would tune in?
