The Japanese version of the song is very different from the English version. I think there’s more information on that on the Smash Bros wiki.
It surprised me, as in the English version, Ashley says “Oh no, not again!” in a non-singing voice, but in Japan, she apparently said something else, and sung it.
I guess that’s a good reason why that’s JP exclusive.
Maybe they added it in their own version, because we got the Wii U version before they did? Extra time and everything?
Aww. I wish we got that song. It would have been awesome.
Happily tucked away in my iPod Shuffle.
Sadly, it seems the one for Orbital Gate Assault (where neither of the pilots notice the fighters, and act like they’re in Star Fox Assault) occurs the most for me.
Yes, you can do it in training. As either Fox or Falco, tap the down taunt button, just lightly until the character begins shaking.
I tried activating them before, but they didn’t work. How do I get them to work? (Can I do it in training mode, or something?)
The only “chats” are on the Corneria stage.
I guess they changed ‘em to the Star Fox 64 3D remake voices to keep ‘em accurate.
According to the IMDB.com Fox’s voice is Mike West the same voice actor he had in Star Fox 64, and it’s 3DS remake. I guess it hasn’t “aged” well, (he sounded better in the N64 days) but an interesting bit of trivia.
Rumor has it he’s related to voice-actor Billy West.
As for graphics for 3DS standards the 3DS version still has good graphics, and nice 3D effects.
No, they don’t. I’d rather they be for the Wii U, though. It’ll look far superior in HD than to the 3DS’ graphics.
Speaking of which, I’m honestly not a huge fan of Fox and Falco’s new voices. I prefered their Brawl ones.
Me to, (though yeah went overboard with the Kid Icarus ones especially, seemed like a bit of favoritism from Sakurai, I hate to say it) I was glad they had 2 EarthBound enemies though, and some other neat ones.
Oddly, they included Pooka from “Dig Dug” to represent “Pac Man.” I guess sense they already had the ghosts as an assist, and stage hazard, it was a nice Namco cameo.
Do they have the Star Fox “chats” in the 3DS version?
I like how each series had an enemy to represent them (although I feel the Mario and Kid Icarus went a bit overboard).
I also love the representation the series are getting in the Wii U version (Metal Face for Xenoblade, Ridley for Metroid, Palutena’s Guidance, the Star Fox chats, and oh so much more!)
Actually, I wanted that to make it easier. :P
And yeah, some enemies are quite tough/annoying.
I think it’s cool they included the Egg Robos from “Sonic & Knuckles,” I always liked them.
I think Smash Run is difficult enough, thank you! I always find myself being overrun by swarms of enemies.
Really? 5.0 isn’t that hard, I felt. I kinda wish “Smash Run” had difficulty settings.
9.0 difficulty is batsh*t crazy! I’ve only beaten level 9.0 twice, using customized characters!
I’m too chicken to play above 2.5 intensity in Classic.
Well, if I play as a character I’m good with, then I can hold my own against a Little Mac.
Oh, most definitely. Bar his poor air recovery, he’s practically the most broken out of the latest roster.
I feel Little Mac is turning into the next Meta Knight, even though I don’t find him all that hard to beat.
Gesundheit.
