While it does seem like his attitude might be in need of some improvement, reading these comments you come of as the person with the bigger need of an attitude adjustment.

Being pedantic here, but for a critic whether someone stops telling a story or not would make a difference (even if it might be viewed as a small one) since that would affect how they should critique it.

Hey, you keep saying that, but I never said you should stop. The story is trite and the main character is about as compelling as earwax, but what you decide to do or not do makes no difference to me. Maybe you just like to reassure yourself.

I think you meant “hollow” criticism. Unless you really think my views are sacred, which is cool too I guess.
Then we are mutually beneficial. I provide you an example of your least-favorite story. You provide me an example of a hallow criticism.
All I know is that you don’t like my OC because he is an OC. Nothing I can do. I know I’ll never win you over and yet seeing this need to have the last comment I see how much this means to you. My story has something going for it in that you can’t walk away.
Because you didn’t hit that unsubscribe button. It seems you don’t have a better calling. Whether your read my stories or not, you need to express your anger in these comments. :)
Believe me, you’re only flattering yourself if you think I read anything of yours past this. Which is, frankly, something I’ve come to expect.
I really don’t care how dismissive you want to be about my comments. You think like my disdain for the low-class storytelling in this comic should be a reason for me to avoid it, but that notion misses the point of my earlier statement. You’ve provided me with a great example of bad fanfiction. It’s quite useful.
But why stay subscribed? Why feel the need to lash out at any attempt at postivity?
Simple reason: you need this. Being mad at this story justifies your sense of self.
