That’s what people like to say, before going on to destroy kids and adults with their violent indiscriminate rage and stubborn opposition to any sort of courtesy. They like to hurl wave after wave of hatred at people until they grind them down into emotionally stunted, irrational hatemongers, all in the name of some vaguely-defined “freedom” that they only preach when they’re the ones using it.

They do have a point though; after all, I wouldn’t want my young kid to see the shit that I’ve seen, and I certainly wouldn’t immediately toss them to the brood of users and vipers that is the modern world. That being said, I don’t want to hide them from the waiting world, a cruel world filled with violence and users that will inevitably become their home.
How much sheltering is too much, and how much exposure should a parent risk?

I those many our generation’s parents grew up during times when cartoons were more darker. What happened that made them all pussies?
Maybe our generation can change that since we grew up with those cartoons.
