The French win battles when they’re commanded by a non-Frenchman.
That’s why I said TEEN dragons specifically.
Teen dragons (like Garble and his gang) are not THAT much bigger than griffons, so they might be able to participate in everything girffons can. Who knows, sports could be a good way to improve pony-dragon relationships, and to get to know each other better.
Just wishful thinking though.
Dragons are pretty damn big, though. I doubt they’d be able to participate in the same sports that ponies and griffons can.

If other races such as griffons can be allowed in the games, it’d be cool to see teen dragons as well. It’d be a bit akward though, since only the teens have a fitting size.

The balance between victories, losses, and standstills is pretty favorable for us, overall. As for intruding into other people’s business, well, that’s another debate altogether.
But we do stick our noses in other countries business on a regular basis, which make us a bit hypocritical and sets us up for quite a few failures.

They’re alright. Biases against Gilda are perfectly justified though.
It’s because they don’t have the mental stigma like Gilda has in your brain, so all you can base your judgements on are the designs, which let’s be honest ARE pretty attractive.

I’ve always headcanoned the Griffons as being the equivalent of europeans. French, German, British, etc.
Interesting. I like the idea of there once having been a loose confederation of Griffon tribes, who constantly warred with one another—until Hurricane’s Pegasi came and smashed it to pieces. Now there’s griffons all over Equestria.
Gilda’s name was originally going to be Grizelda. I picture the Griffons as being “continental European” as opposed to the “Anglophone” ponies.
