We would, but it’s far too common, and too many people take it as actual representation, which gives Studios an excuse not to actually represent sexual minorities within the media itself. That’s not good representation. I’m only okay with it if there is a possibility David being acknowledged in later episodes, such as when vivziepop confirmed the sexualities of Charlie, Vaggie, and Alastor, but in this case, and in the case of the Harry Potter franchise, they are already complete and there is no possibility for future representation. Basically, it’s lazy lip service.

and apart from that, it’s also a good example of being unprofessional. imagine if Ms. Hadley’s current or future employer stumbled across this tweet. :(

I think it’s fair to say that her being straight or bi are both equally theoretical and unproven if all we’re using is the show as evidence.
