Description
They finally got it right, Lightning Dust might actually be considered a character now and not a friendship plot device.
She’ll likely still be reformed anyway, but at least they didn’t sh*t on her debut episode, like they did with Trixie and Gilda.

Uh, what?

No, i’m just not taking anything you say seriously, simply because taking anything pony related super seriously is pointless. I’m just her to have fun and enjoy anything and everything pony related canon, not canon, pre-dev, cut, and so on… I really don’t care, and worrying about what is and isn’t “canon” takes too much of the fun out it because honestly the more fun parts are the ones everyone wants to exclude.
so again I say “That’s ok you can keep your mind closed to all the possibilities, I will have fun with them myself”.
Troll in the dungeon.
That’s ok you can keep your mind closed to all the possibilities, I will have fun with them myself.
You repeat yourself.
But these are the facts.
That’s ok you can keep your mind closed to all the possibilities, I will have fun with them myself.
I´m just stating the facts.
That’s ok you can keep your mind closed to all the possibilities, I will have fun with them myself.
Friendship is Magic –> Canon
Equestria Girls –> Canon
Sunset Shimmer –> Canon
Siege of the Crystal Empire –> Not Canon
It is really not difficult.
At this point it’s hard to say what is and isn’t canon simply because MLP already exists within a multi-verse. Now you could say it’s not canon to the root universe: Quote unquote “Equestria Prime”.
Not canon.
To be entirely honest i’m not even sure this was a serious conversation to begin with. I mean it started as like an attempt at explaining my intentions; but devolved in my opinion rather quickly, Without needing to go into too much detail, I’m not really sure why I threw all that nonsense at you. I mean really I probably could have just threw a link or two and could have been like “Google is my friend” and been done with it.
Personally, I use figurative language literally too much. everything I say is either some form of metaphor, hyperbole or oxymoron in an attempt to make my facetious sarcasm seem relevant to the unawares. Might probably be a subtle attempt to make the viewing masses appreciate the proper understanding of the English language, but alas I’m sure that’s just me being an asshole.
Eitherway, I’m merely apologizing as I do not contain enough interest to try and drag the subject on longer than the post I’ve hence made.
#Copout
(Fun fact, I did not get a chance to do as I formally mentioned I would as responsibility came, but not I)
If we had another word that meant what literally used to mean, I’d let this one go and just migrate to “non-figuratively” or whatever the replacement was. But we don’t, so I’m going to have to pick a few more fights with this windmill until it’s out of my system. If a word can be its own opposite, it has literally (in whichever sense you please) lost its meaning.
Also, just to be an annoying nitpick, the
literalnon-figurative definition of “asshole” would not be “rowdy posterior” so much as “anus”. I’d elaborate, but considering how your last post ended, I’m guessing you’ve at least seen a picture of one already. :PEdited
I know what I said, and I know what it means. I however was using it in the modern day connotative context rather than the original denotative. An example: when a younger person says to their friend “OMG I am literally dying” they don’t mean that they are in fact actually dying, they are just stating that at that current moment whatever event they are in they are currently feeling the drain of emotion, and feel that would equate to dying.
So in my context, I did not mean that the characters of comment where-in fact a group of rowdy posteriors but rather; was commentary on the fact of their personalities were equating to that of a person of [1] ill repute and distaste, so my liberal use of the word literally could be taken as such: “X Character is literally a sic*1 [Person of Ill repute and Distaste] an Asshole”
wherin’ thus my use of literally could be seen as the correct form of the word. in any way of understanding my use of said word in said context I am correct in it’s execution as I said before, I do know what I said and I do know how I used it.
To help you however, here are some definitions I found:

Now I am literally going to bust a nut to some horses. Also hella spread on the wham, everybody is a friggin’ scholar on the internet amiright?
