EG’s way of exploring of Equestrian magic just genuinely keep me invested too.
The girls with their geodes? Just the idea of superpowers; magical girls stuff intrigued me.
It’s different plot device of storytelling we haven’t seemuchin FiM.>>1790130>>1790130p
trite high school stereotypes and the recycled stories
watching teenagers going to high school like so many other cartoons and tv shows, having adventures about going to the beach or taking an examSo what? When I watch something on television, YouTube, or other mediums of broadcast media, something I like to see is a familiar thing or being for me to truly relate with. Seeing human (or humanoid) characters makes me feel some sort of bond with them. In this strange way, even though they aren’t real, they feel as real as human flesh itself.Another fact is we humans have more language through body and emotions than most. That’s something that the ponies, some dragons, and other mystical and magical creatures in Equestria don’t really have for me, save for Capper and Captain Celaeno and her pirate crew from the movie. You barely see it on the mainline show. Sure the ponies sometimes stand on their hind legs, but I believe that’s for comedic or dramatic effect. Also you can relate to what a person wears sometimes; another thing that the show really doesn’t have for the ponies.^This is only just one of the many reasons fans enjoy EG.
Nah, I’m not really interested in watching teenagers going to high school like so many other cartoons and tv shows, having adventures about going to the beach or taking an exam. It is pretty funny seeing so many people complaining about one character, it is even worse than the time when Twilight turned into an alicorn. Meanwhile, Sunset is almost a goddess for you.
It is actually pretty boring for me to watch the mane6 having almost a normal life in a school. While I can enjoy some of their movies, specials and songs. I just can’t see the fun in watching those shorts… It is cliché.
It almost feels like you are turning The Lord of the Rings into High School of The Rings. Making the world less magic, restricting the characters and etc.
