Well, that’s your opinion, but if you check the various brony sites around the web, you’ll find that GOF is overwhelming Beloved by the fanbase.
 
Not neccessarily to the extent that I can outright say its better than the saddle and row review, but its at least neck and neck with it for fan love.

The humour in this episode was amazing. These ‘slice-of-life’ episodes are just the best.
 
Rainbow, Pinkie and AJ got me laughing more then once. Now again, I remember why I keep watching ponies.

Pretty much. Although Twi’s got the science down for iron man and some of the unsociable skills, they are extremely different social skills and more fit Sunset’s ‘enjoy the now, consequences later’ former attitude, just with more megalomania on Sunset’s past obviously. Plus the scene where Iron Man tries to figure out his new iron man tech and how it would work in the field when compared to the extra where Sunset tries to figure out Friendship magic’s powers sells it for me. If they went with the animated avengers roster, I would had Twi be Wasp.
 
Meh, maybe Quicksilver for Pinkie? Its hard not for her to be Deadpool in the Marvel-verse.

That’s pretty fitting now that I think about it. AJ would probably be CA.Twi is obviously Iron man, Flutter is obvious, Rarity is black widow and Pinkie… Hawkeye?

Basically, Rainbow is fairly smart when she actually gives a damn about something, and can bring in a ton of information at just a glance (Testing Testing 1,2,3). The trick is making her care enough to get into the subject.
