I blame corporate Equestria. I swear, in a few years we won’t even make it to Hearts and Hooves day without getting fliers from Barnyard Bargains suggesting that our friends and family might appreciate some Power Ponies dolls or a bottle of dragon’s toenail under the tree.
I’d love another Nightmare Night episode. The two so far have been pretty good, plus hey, ponies in costumes!

The Equestrian weather ponies have lots of explaining to do. Their schedule must be a bureaucratic nightmare.
It’s the seasons they celebrate them in, you know autumn before winter?
Hearth’s Warming doesn’t celebrate the birth of Christ, and Nightmare Night does celebrate the exile of a pony princess who threatened to plunge all of the ponies into eternal darkness.
If the ponies want to switch when they have their holidays, I don’t mind a bit.
