4k and 4k resolution should probably be merged, considering that there are some users who are using both tags when uploading

Why is the tag for the last Tell Your Tale episode “the water park” when it’s called “Slide for Your Lives”?

I tried replacing the tags episode needed and unnamed oc with tags of the episodes’ clips and tags of the OCs’ names as well as artist tags onto this, but whenever I do it, it just reloads the page

I then tried adding only a few tags from the many other tags I have saved in a word document, which seemed to work until after editing three times

It even reloads when I even add or remove only one tag 🥲

I feel like if I made a comment on a post and called OP a slur like that, I would get banned. But it’s fine if it’s in a tag?

Probably in the tag description, have it say something along the lines of “this tag should not be used to describe the Derpibooru user posting this image like the various other ‘op’ tags, but should instead only be used if it features a subject of the image calling another that slur, with the latter being designated ‘op’”.

I know this was more of a YouTube Poop thing from back in the day, but I’d feel the same way if there happened to be a tag along the lines of, say, “op is a double n****r”

There’s a lot of dumb 4chan shit that doesn’t really need to still be here in TYOOL Two Thousand Twenty Four, but a lot of people are super bad at separating “nostalgia” from “actual mental trauma that should probably get checked out by a professional”, especially when it comes to their first experience with fandom hyperfixation, so here we are. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

I feel as though going “haha, you care too much” is a bit of an unnecessary remark… but I just wanted to quickly mention that if there’s an interest in newer users joining the site and sharing their work, I don’t think tags such as “op is a (insert slur here)” make us look particularly welcoming as the largest repository for MLP-focused artwork and the like.

Regardless, it definitely looks odd to keep such a hateful-sounding tag, as @TexasUberAlles said, in 2024. We really should shed off that old 4chan skin.

Well, to start with, not everyone would agree that the term ‘Faggot’ is always hateful. It’s like the artist NiggerFaggot, a black gay man making pony art who was reclaiming both of those words as his own revolutionary act against people who hated on him.

Anyway, the tag op is a faggot is tagging images where that phrase is literally in the image (at least, given a very cursory look) and it is referring to an old meme. That makes it possible for people to hide those if they don’t want to see that in an image.

If you would rather not see images with that meme or that specific text in the image tag, please consider filtering the tag.

And if you find images tagged with that tag that you believe were tagged that way as an insult to the OP, then please report them and we’ll look at what happened and maybe we’ll remove the tag and ban the person who added the tag.
