World of Warcraft is releasing fresh Classic servers tomorrow. Definitely gonna be playing it while I wait for the next retail patch.

This is what hell feels like, isn’t it? Because HOLY SHIT, I haven’t played a game that’s left me feeling this enraged since Mega Man X6.

This is not a good game. It could’ve ended up a good game if it wasn’t rushed out to meet a deadline, but it was. And all I’m left with now is a terrible, barely functioning mess. Sonic’s story is at least somewhat fun (y’know, when the controls and collision aren’t dogshit), but everything else is just horrible.

Fuck this game.

It’s really not that bad. Sure there are many loading screens and the mechanics are held together by duct tape but it never left me feeling angry like Shadow the Hedgehog did.

I kinda like both 06 and Shadow.

The former is certainly better with either Project 06 (which plays much better) or the Legacy of Solaris mod (which feels like a version of 06 that was given more development time).

Yes it is. It really fucking is. It’s easily the worst experience I’ve ever had playing a Sonic game (not counting titles I’ll likely never have the means to play I.E. Free Riders), and I refuse to be stockholmed by this goddamn fan base into thinking otherwise.

And I’m sick of people constantly ragging on it like it’s one of the worst games of all time and beating a dead horse.
I played it, I didn’t feel like raging except for the final level, overall it just felt mediocre. The only things I hated were the town missions and the load screens and I was saying to myself “really? This is the worst sonic game?” I felt like people exaggerated.

I love that the bowser vs eggman death battle was so peak it turned the subreddit into a sage x bowser Jr shipping sub.

Honestly, Elise kissing Sonic notwithstanding it just needed more time. Everything was there except a proper Soleanna Trials wrapper-container, it was just an unfinished mess of bugs.

You didn’t think the game was that bad? That’s fine, great even. But that doesn’t mean I have to feel that way. I think the game is dogshit, so that’s what it is to me.

And let’s be real, any game that’s considered “one of the worst of all time” is in the exact same boat that 06 is in. Lambasting Ride to Hell: Retribution or Superman 64 may be as old as the internet itself, but that doesn’t somehow make those games any less shitty than they already are.

Superman 64 sucks more than Sonic 06 because you are not going through rings to get to every level. And the Game play varied on each Hedgehog.

Silver being the worst IMO.
