Trump doesn’t even understand basic economics to know what a tariff is and sucks at history. So I think he is just forcing his luck to see if the GOP will do what he wants them to do.

I’m currently unable to retrieve a link to the relevant news article, but I will say that with how expensive eggs have gotten these days, it was really only a matter of time before someone decided to just steal a huge supply of them. (In this case, 100,000 eggs worth over $40,000.)

I don’t know why you would. You ask me protests these days are mostly just for clout fiends and narcissists obsessed with being holier than thou. I’ve yet to see a protest in recent history accomplish more than just token promises everyone forgets about a month later.

We’re almost at the point of being an authoritarian government. And we’re just feebly going “No, stop, that’s not right, we’ll sue.”
That’s cause people are too lazy to actually do the work needed to properly oppose this. And no I don’t mean take up arms, we’re nowhere near that point. I’m talking about creating a cohesive and efficient propaganda machine, campaigning for certain politicians, educating the dullards, etc etc
