Unpopular opinion time (super alpha no pony edition)

I enjoyed it at first, just like the IT Crowd, but unlike the IT crowd it started taking itself too seriously later on. I don’t give a fudge about all this relationship crap.

I acutally like the coat or jacket over the normal costume look.

Spider Gwen’s is just a hood on her costume, but i never cared for Scarlet Spider’s cotume really, i did like Ben’s take on the Spiderman outfit though.

most of the complaints about the scarlet hoodie that i’ve encountered waaaay back is the hood (when worn) hinders his vision somewhat but when spider-gwen wears the hood, it’s ‘sexy as fuck’.
 
i liked the concept of the ben reilly spider-man though (namely how would the ‘original’ peter parker fare against his enemies WITHOUT the experiences he got fighting them ‘before’).

I don’t let shit like that come into it, afterall Doctor doom would have horrible periferal vision too, it’s one of the things rule of coll get’s to take care of.

haters would nitpick the smallest things and dismiss the stuff they like (even with glaring flaws) as ‘rule of cool/attention to detail’. i got that from reading the comments section on cracked about the OT star wars’ imperfect props.
 
biggest BS would be claiming that the attack of the clones suits are too clean while the OT suits are ‘battle tested’…despite the fact that the AoC suits are doing their FIRST sortie (so of course their so clean).

the article pointed out that the original storm trooper suits are hastily done because the props maker got overwhelmed with the number of suits for the time it was needed so imperfections got past the QA line. prequel haters just chalked the imperfections as giving the suits ‘soul’ or whatever and dismissing the much later prequel suits as assembly line products with no soul.

……….That’s kind of the point isn’t it? the juxtaposition, the Clones were made programmed and lived only for the task of war, but through shared experiences and the leadership of the Jedi became far more humane and good then the normal men who sold out and became the storm troopers.

there were more of hating the ‘clean visuals’ of the prequels when compared to the ‘dated visuals’ of the OT.
 
basically it’s something i’ve encountered a lot lately, fansites critcizing the visuals of everything down to the smallest misplaced/miscolored pixel but having nostalgia glasses for the ones they grew up with.

Seems pretty standard, I mean the only difference between Spike and Sam is Sam didn’t make me want to claw my eyes out since his scenes at least had humor.

Burgerkill is an overrated metalcore band. I don’t think they stand out very differently from any other metalcore bands, aside from their aesthetics, which are rather gritty and resemble sludge metal, instead of being mellow or tough-guy. (Calling their music metalcore is also sorta a misnomer, since it sounds more like groove metal than metalcore.)

I never could get all those different subsections. All I know is I’m fornd of the stuff from the 70s/80s and I’m not too fond of the “try to cough up your tonsils on the microphone” style singing.

I just found it funny because that’s a costume Spidey actually wore and it’s rather similar to the one you posted.

Yeah, looks good. Personally would’ve kept the full facemask as opposed to only the eyes. Think it looks cooler like that.

I haven’t followed the comics in years. The Spidergirl series with May “Mayday” Parker was an AU, right?
 
There’s apparently also a new spidergirl (that’s Gwen Stacy, right? Ain’t she supposed to be dead?) and she looks alright. Peripheral vision ain’t much of a thing when you have spider-sense.
