I agree with you completely. I hate people who give what group they proclaim themselves as a shitty name, eg. KKK(Christian), ISIS(Iranian/Islam), that guy, Hitler(The good people of Germany), The leader of the USSR(Russians), etc. And those are just examples people know.
the timing and points given out by comic makes it too much of a coincidence to assume that it’s based on alvrexadpot.
i wonder if people would call BS if law and order made an episode out of this.

I just generated a random 4-digit hexadecimal number: de6f. Is there a mod who would like to change his username to “Background Pony #de6f” so he can truthfully say he had no say in his handle?
I never called them bloodthirsty murderous retrogrades. Today is the first time I’ve ever heard the word “retrograde.”
I did, however, accuse them of revering a child rapist, based on the fact that the prophet they all revere raped a child. Her name was Aisha, and she was nine years old.
In fairness, I probably could have phrased things a little more delicately on a safe image, but it still struck me as a little unreasonable that I got banned for making a truthful statement that a mod didn’t like.
As for my other bans… yeah, I probably deserved those.

Actually, that little number is ensuring consistency of numbers within comments. That way you can’t … paper bag puppet? Is it suck puppeting if its a bunch of untraceable posts? Unnumbered BP posts had me posting “I’m that dude” a hundred billion times before they were added.

But people being wrong and inventing reasons to be angry and insult others is really relevant to everything!
Also, I never understood why people think you guys ban for that sort of thing. Bans for dumb or wrong reasons happen all the time, but I can’t recall a single “your political views are wrong, so shut up” ban.

Because a random string you generate is still something you generate. I cannot say I had no say in my identification if the first step is generate what I’m identifying with, That’s just silly.

The whole point to the numbers changing on anon’ names on each pic separately is to hide people’s identity.
But if you have a constant BP number across the site, that’s the same as having a name, even if the number isn’t one you chose yourself. Thus, if it’s the choosing that upsets you, it’s easy enough to generate a random string for a name. So either there’s something else going on, or you’re being inconsistent.

Despite what some people may continue to insist, we don’t ban people merely for disagreeing with the mods or for holding contrary opinions.
