Point is, Twilight explicitly calls him a “baby” dragon. Therefor he’s underaged.

So Twilight was only 2 or 3 when she passed her magic exam? Apple Bloom is at least 9 years late to get her cutie mark? The gap between Applejack’s age and Apple Bloom’s might be as small as the time spanned by the series to date; or in other words, Apple Bloom in her latest appearance might be as old as than Applejack in the premiere?
I don’t know where any of you are pulling your conclusions from. You can’t guess a dragon’s age by sight when the “baby” Spike we usually see and the giant monster Spike in Secret of My Excess were the same age.

you can at least say her feeling are pretty ambiguous, I guess because Spike needs to grow physically. But she does care a lot for him, even more than for any other pony, even she treats him in a very special way she doesn’t treat anypony else, so she does have deep feelings for him.
Perhaps not Cadie/Shiny or Mr. & Mrs. Cake-level official, but certainly a bit less out there than, oh, any ship involving Tom. Or those intra-Mane-Six docecahedrons some gobble like PCP-sprinkled cheesecake.
“I acknowledge that’s how you feel about me” is not the same as “I love you back.” That would be horrible.
She did acknowledge it when they fell to their deaths in Season 2.

So they’re adults with the cognitive capacities of adolescents? Isn’t that one of the definitions of mental retardation? Also, I’d ague that they’re maturity level hasn’t changed all that much during the show’s run. If anything, Pinkie and Dash have dropped a little.
