~10% of the images on here are tagged explicit, and ~4.5% are questionable. Suggestive and safe are definitely not porn.
Maybe you’re talking about the front page and during a time when porn was being uploaded. Then yes, in that case, that page will have porn on it. If there was all safe images uploaded in the same circumstance, would you say that we hosted no porn at all?
Go ahead, search for the different ratings tags and look at the numbers. They don’t lie.

I was wordless when I saw this post. I decided to let it go for a while, let myself calm down, and let some other ideas enter the conversation. With that done, WHAT THE FUCK.
You are not that girl from that movie where she was forced to follow every instruction given to her. No one is. If someone says something, you have the power to ignore it. If someone insults you, take it and move on. Otherwise you will never survive in human society. Those 6 billion+ other people on the planet don’t hate you. In fact, they don’t care about you. They don’t care about me, either. And if one of them does hate you, that doesn’t mean the other ones do. Assuming something about a group based on some small parts is textbook bad logic.
But I think you know this, and you know people insult other people. You do it, too. And so do I, later in this paragraph I even insult you. That is how the world works. Assuming you’ve existed in the world at some point and therefore know this, the only reason for all your whining is a big damn persecution complex. “Boo hoo! Look at me! The bronies have tied me to this chair and FORCED me to animate until I got carpal goddamn tunnel! Since I’m such a GREAT ANIMATOR, if I was more well known I’d have fans asking for my autograph everywhere I go! Waaaaaah.”
And the carpal tunnel. If that is true, then you’re genuinely crazy. I currently have a piece of plastic around my neck due to lifelong medical problems. I take four cocktails of pills daily. I’ve had chronic fatigue, chronic pain, depression, two surgeries, and other shit that doesn’t matter. Point is that I know pain. Pain is bad. TO HARM YOURSELF TO MEET THE “DEMANDS” OF NO ONE IS STUPID. You have no deadline. You have no boss. The only one forcing you to animate is YOU. If you decided to quit the fandom or whatever, all you’d have to do is stop posting. Everyone on the internet would forget about you in a few months as they do with everything else.
And is this post harsh? Yes. Is it insulting? Hell yes. It’s tough fucking love, because these are basic life lessons.
I completely get where you’re coming from, and sympathise. If you love creating stuff but don’t want the publicity and attention which comes with it, my advice is to post art anonymously. Almost all drama can be avoided by simply not giving people a name to target.

But while I’m commenting, and you’ve mentioned Jan, I fell asleep one night and I could’ve sworn I dreamt of you two performing “Epic Rap Battles of History” against each other. Just thought I’d bring that up for no reason, but it’s true.
Again, you’re generalizing the whole fandom from the actions of a very small amount of people in it– many of whom aren’t even part of the fandom itself. I can understand the desire for obscurity, but I assure you purposely making enemies out of those who would like you otherwise is a far worse thing to do.
I’ve seen what this fandom does to people if content creators leave themselves open to it.
I’ve witnessed the frustrations musicians of something they once loved to do for fun now became a chore because fans think “they owe them something.”
We are called sellouts if we try to make a single buck from our art (especially animators) yet everyone demands more.
BronyDanceParty is tired of being compared to Jan even though his methods are completely different. To the point he’s paranoid to talk to me.
Jan has been making cartoons for years (so have I) no one’s ever seen them until he got into the Pony Boat and he’s frustrated as ever.
Mayde-edits was repeatedly harassed because of an animation he made one afternoon for fun. We talked it out with lots of tears in a skype call.
Kanashiipanda and I have both developed carpel tunnel in our wrist and have to wear a brace at all times. Because we animate too much otherwise nothing would ever get done.
So I put of a front, and build a wall. So people who truely know who I am see this and laugh. The people who don’t know me, get the prejudice attitude that I constructed, and think I’m an asshole.
I want my art to be seen, and I want to livestream me animating, but I don’t want 1000 adoring fans screaming at me for attention and demanding things from me.
I much rather have 20 - 30 regulars in my stream who know me, and the rest of the internet think im an asshole.
The actual you is what you do.

Instead of ‘experimenting’, why don’t you just act normal? I like your art style, fyi, but the attitude you’ve displayed here is less than ideal.

I never said Fan art is not art. It is indeed art and the skill and dedication to pull off the art can only be done by an artist. And this fandom has some very stellar art in it.

I was really confused about this image and comment thread for a while, but that explains everything. Petey’s just a mildly retarded egomaniac.
I will always think of you as the best animator in teh fandom. And for the first time I have now seen you comment. You succeeded in making a big fan think of you as a terrible person. You think fan art can’t be good art? Then you’re not really an artist, you’re a twat. I also totally don’t get how what you’re saying in this image is meant to make sense in reply to the other image. The image is about using a character to give a message, nothing about art. It’s like you’re trying to troll, but don’t know how to.

I got no problem with his art at all and find it very good at times it’s just his attitude bugs me so much I say so little about them as one of my first experiences talking with him he was kind of an jerk.
There’s 90,000+ registered users on the site (and an untold amount of anons), can you point to some definitive proof of yours that ~75,000 of those people only come here for porn? Is there some image on here that has anywhere near that many upvotes or faves? More than a couple hundred votes, tops? Of course you can’t. The numbers just aren’t there.
