there are 3 ponies with bulging eyes looking in different directions, and then one single animation that presumably involves a pony either declaring his love for pooping or undergoing a horrific transformation into the jokermort. 4 works, not 30. all pictures with such eyes subesquently are just edits of that one single animation, or in-progress shots. the smooze brand cheeze ponies might count, but they’re only in the frame for an instant, and they come from the same original animation (in progress). even if you count all those, there isn’t more than 10 bulging wall eyed ponies.
 
if anything pikapetey’s recurring problem is giving too much muscle tone to lower lips. anyone who thinks in-progress pictures of the same thing indicate a recurring problem, is a moron.

But i’m getting hella faster at drawing them hence the surge of bugg-eyed ponies lately on this site.

oh those aren’t spam. That’s me using my voice to text feature on my phone then rambling off some nonsense about shopping with my mom, and chocolate banana pies. I talk in a fast manner and there are many MANY translation errors.

I find all this backlash to my art amusing. I’m doing something new and unusual with ponies and the fandom rejects this because it’s different.
 
y’know kind of how society rejected the notion of grown men liking a show for little girls because it’s different.

I’ve been working on a part of the film that doesn’t try to be cute, cuddly, or anime-chibi style. The style I’m doing for my short film is new and different from what I’ve seen done with ponies.
 
People generally dislike things that are “new, unusual, and different.”

Actually 2Snacks is the best animator in the fandom. This guy is, at best, a distant second. <.<

I looked this guy’s tag here, and was utterly baffled when I saw all the downvotes. He is the best animator in this fandom! Double Rainboom wasn’t great. Jananimations has talent, but not on this level. Pikapetey is the real deal! And you guys downvote him.
 
Perhaps I am biased for knowing how much effort goes into FBF animation. I am myself an animator. A failed one that is. So I really envy this guy. So yeah, defnitely biased, but I still don’t get how his animations can be disliked when they are so stunningly beautiful!
