When the absolute ruler of an entire country basically wants to take your kid, raise her as her enforcer / protege, and put her in constant harms way for the rest of her life, the least she can do is also give your other kid a cushy government job. Wouldn’t surprise me if Twi’s parents got “Waste Management Consultant” paychecks in the mail despite never actually working any shifts either XD

He at least started as a raw recruit, so he was preferenced for promotion, but still had to earn it. It worked out in the end since he wound up running the guard in the Crystal Empire, so you could look at it as cronyism for the purpose of training him for that position, rather than cronyism for its own sake. Sunhorse chessmaster shenanigans.

She gets even better in the comic series Godzilla Rulers of Earth where she actually puts up a pretty solid fight against Godzilla just by being a quicker thinker and using hit-and-run predator tactics :D

You’re right. She tried but she couldn’t beat the real deal. I do find it rather amusing that the Final Wars movie gave her a fanbase (especially after what happened in the 90s remake) but at the same time, I can see why it happened since she’s now her own unique character now.

It’s ironic that they did it to insult the character, too. She shows up, attacks Godzilla, and is REAL soundly wiped out to be like “Look at how she sucks lol!” Fans were like “Wow she’s a canon kaiju AND she’s ballsy enough to stand up to Godzilla?! She’s actually a total bad-ass!” XD

Yeah, that’s a good comparison. It’s nice that Toho made her into a separate character.

Yeah. Back then there simply wasn’t a show-accurate toy of her, so honestly I think it was super fair to be miffed by Pinklestia. Now that there is, we can take her for what she is :D
 
It’s like, remember when Godzilla fans were furious at the 1998 Godzilla movie? Since Toho has canonized that creature (now called Zilla) as a separate kaiju (who even battles the real Godzilla), she actually has quite a few fans now XD

I have to agree with you. Back then, the only reason I disliked pinklestia because it wasn’t show accurate and was the only offical toy we had for her. But now that we do have more show accurate toys of her, it doesn’t bother me as much anymore.
 
And I’m with you on that the design on its own is honestly rather pretty. It’s why I like Cadance’s design since it more or less copied bits and pieces of that design for her.  
 
Seriously. They’re very similar minus some differences here and there (like the mane, cutie mark, eyes, and accessories). I think those shades of pink look really pretty together. I also like their dual colored wings.

Yeah. Just take this for what it is for a minute, like forget that it’s not her in-show color scheme and all that, and just judge it on it’s own. That’s a REALLY nice color scheme and design :D
