Beta agonist and often alpha blockers (not to be overly general about it) result in increased adrenaline, dopamine, and in general atp energy exchange.

Albuterol is used as dope in sports, and a lot of undermining of its energizing effects are for the sake of allowing it in sports in certain quantities. Studies show that every body in professional sports has ahstma and hypothyroidism, lmao

I will never mention a treatment or cure that doesn’t have consistently reproducible results.

yeah I wasn’t being serious or anything. (the therapists who insist that negative self-talk is my problem sadly are, though.) thanks for your prudence in deciding what knowledge is worth sharing. I’ll try to do the same, though my ability to research this stuff is rather limited. as for legality, we probably shouldn’t be using the comments section on a pony themed image site to talk about drugs. not sure what the best way to safely discuss that would be though.

Some of the safer ones like Clen and Albuterol are prescription only.

albuterol, really? all I knew it did was relax smooth muscles, as in the ones that constrict the lungs during an asthma attack. prescription-only isn’t too bad, if your drug dealer is in good standing with the mafia (i.e. a medical doctor).

…I’ll probably avoid stuff that lands people in the hospital, even if they were probably abusing the flying feather out of it.

nicotine’s biggest danger is it massively increases the risk of heart disease. not sure why exactly. also yeah, super addictive, though I have to wonder how much of that is the nicotine altering your brain chemistry. people crave cigarettes years after they stopped, and is it because it broke their brains, so they feel worse than if they never smoked, or do we just naturally feel like that, and they simply remember feeling better?

interesting about those modulator thingies. I only use steroids for immune system regulation, like glucocorticoids in nasal inhalers.

Believe me, I don’t pander to bs like depending on happy thoughts to restructure deformed and atrophied nervous systems. Also I think enjoyment and sustainability are key traits of effective stimulants, and furthermore being healthy, and optimal inherently entails a ‘high’ that the user will habitually maintain, so long as the benefits outweigh the risk.

I will never mention a treatment or cure that doesn’t have consistently reproducible results. Just because something seems like it should be beneficial, or ‘can’t hurt’ is no reason to do it.

Since the staff is seemingly responsible for the words that come out of my mouth I would like to keep things ‘generally recognized as safe’ and legal.

Adrenergics will heat up your body, and increase ATP energy transfer. Yohimbine is the only legal one I trust off the top of my head, that actually works. In fact it has put body builders in the hospital, so I wouldn’t treat it lightly. Some of the safer ones like Clen and Albuterol are prescription only.

Nicotine is chlolinergic, and increases dopamine and seratonin. It’s so good at its job the biggest danger is addiction. Nicotine itself isn’t toxic or carcinogenic when vaporized. Sensationalist say nicotine is the reaper, scientist have observed it to be one of the few effective cognitive enhancers, and a powerful stimulant.

By all means use amphetamines. You know what they are, and I can appreciate that. I’ve heard a lot of dumb shit, like people thinking they’re made from steroids.

Speaking of steroids, they’ve evolved. Selective Androergic Receptor Modulators, or Sarms. We got a whole slew of androergic peptides, and unlike traditional steroids, these Sarms are only prodrugs to steroids, they make your body produce steroids, meaning your balls don’t shrink no more. These are legally grey half the time, and I would definately try like everything else first, despite the fact that these are the safest and most effective.

well, don’t worry they tried a lot of “noninvasive” techniques like “have you tried thinking happy thoughts?” and stuff. this’s kind of a last resort thing. I think amphetamines are pretty cheap, since they’ve been around forever, and are generic af. some of the other drugs are just… insanely priced. what medication does that ATP thing? I’m honestly f*king tired of taking these stupid things, mostly just do it b/c I’d get denied health care if I y’know… refused health care. also the potential for nasty withdrawal. I can’t even imagine how anyone would find it easy to to take too much of this stuff. but… maybe that’s a sign that I’m one of the few people who should be taking it.

heaven forbid anyone take a drug that’s actually fun…

Now hang on, my views on it are completely pragmatic. The fact is that dextro-amphetamine is much more useful if you go into it expecting it to suck. I also believe that there is many underlying mechanics to depression, and cognitive dysfunction that should be looked at before resorting to what I consider a rather brute force method.

I would use them a lot but they’re expensive, and relentlessly powerful. Unless I had a cache of properly dosed pills it is too easy to blow large amounts of money, and fry my bearings doing it. I also have to deal with drug test, and the laws, and breaking the law for a cognitive enhancer, when there is so many legal paths to consider isn’t smart. If a doctor can help you out, I just hope he knows what he’s doing, but I’ve seen American stimulant culture take a nose dive. Drugs with the most promise like amphetamines, and modafinil have extravagant price tags, when just as effective, but less understood methods are available everywhere.

Exercise produces the very same amides that Amphetamines are designed to mimic, so one option is any drug that makes exercise easier or more fruitful. I chose a drug that increases ATP energy transfer, and enhances runners high. Asthma medication, albuterol. Now there are plenty of individuals who’s engines don’t start so easily, and I believe amphetamines and androergics belong in any functional medical system.

What else is asthma medication? Ephedrine, and when reduced, it makes the trademark dextroamphetamine, and levo amphetamine in the same process. Point is the ionotropic glutamate receptors (such as AMPA, and NMDA) are pretty high level processes, and sometimes the real key to energy is so simple.

Depression, and other cognitive deficiencies can start from anywhere. In fact metabolic depression (which turns into cognitive depression) is a side effect of almost any drug can take. Depression can start from the nervous system, or the endocrine system, all the way down to the bacteria in your gut, or mitochondrial energy transfers. A lag in any energy chain can result in lethargy and reduced motivation. AMPA and NMDA sit near the top of the ladder, and modulating these can cause deficiencies in all other physiological systems if the problem isn’t addressed holistically.

In an ideal world, doctors would try many innovative techniques, starting with the least invasive, and most sustainable, moving only towards the most brute force, and direct as necessary. America has had quite the love story with amphetamines, but it fizzled out, in a manor analogous to its actual effects on your body, the processes behind it couldn’t support the energy it was pumping out.

All of that said I still think amphetamines are a powerful tool that anyone should have access to, with the proper considerations and restrictions. I would avoid giving this kind of drug to a child, unless dopamine deregulation is threatening to have a substantial impact on their cognitive development.

well nothing’s perfect. like I said, amphetamine’s not that great of a drug. doesn’t really make you high, messes things up, stresses out the brain, and might be the only thing keeping you from wasting your life for years, just sitting around all confused and uninspired, doing nothing. but um… isn’t inhibiting the clearance a good thing? you don’t have to take as much then, and it takes longer to wear off, so there’s less of a crash.

anyway I’m saying we agree that amphetamine sucks. I just don’t think it’s as powerful as all that. the side effects get severe with high doses, it doesn’t “stimulate” just your “reward systems,” and nobody who has any other way of getting dopamine is going to bother with it. I say this, because it’s treated as if it were up there with heroin and cocaine. I think a lot of the danger amphetamine represents is just hype, mainly from the crooks who want to keep it illegal, so they can continue to monopolize the black market and exploit desperate people.

It’s hard to find anything that extra dietary vitamin c does without having to shovel through junk claims. There was a vitamin craze 60 something years ago in which a scientist who made the cover of times magazine claimed excessive doses of vitamin c could cure cancer. He died of cancer.

The thing about stimulant psychosis is there in no clear line between enhancement, and degradation. An ideal dose can still result in impaired judgement. The fact is healthy brains are already optimal at resource management, and any useful cognitive enhancer is going to seem so mild and insignificant. Amphetamines drop out of the definition of nootropic for reasons of impulse dosing, adrenal stimulation and increased heart rate. They are only useful for people with significantly impaired dopamine systems like depression and adhd, where the brain is so conservative and hard to stimulate that nerve connections diminish and atrophy. When your reward systems are excessively stimulated dispite the fact you’re selling your stuff and sitting around all day, you’re no longer ‘enhanced,’ and while there is many successful illicit amphetamine users out there, most people are better off exercising.

Magnesium is a double edged sword, it inhibits the clearance of dextro amphetamine in the kidneys so well that heavy amphetamine users take it in conjunction with calcium to increase blood concentrations of dextroamphetamine. This kind of usage is posted all over Bluelight.org

While I’m not sure about vitamin c, i know it will expedite the clearance of many acids, but this means depleting d-amphetamine as a result. melatonin has defiantly been shown to reduce oxitive stress in the central nervous system. However oral melatonin has only been proposed to deplete gaba degrative enzymes, and this hasn’t even been demonstrated in any significant quantity.

oh, I don’t know about the adderall brand itself. I was just talking about generic brand amphetamine salts. I agree that too much amphetamine will kill you, but it’s pretty easy to dose, and with magnesium being a NMDA agonist you can negate a lot of the neurotoxicity. vitamin C and melatonin also act as antioxidants to the effects of excess dopamine.

as for stimulant psychosis, yeah don’t take amphetamine if that happens. most people don’t experience psychosis though, at least not unless they’re taking ridiculous amounts. you definitely would have to have a death wish to try smoking or injecting it. there are way better drugs to smoke that don’t make you feel horrible. extended release amphetamine pills are so pricey, specifically because people feel better when the drug doesn’t hit their system all at once.

@redweasel
Well I have a hard time using them because of stimulant psychosis.

When you overclock a computer and its temperature gets too high, sometimes electrons jump right through resistant structures, resulting in miscalculation and breakdown of the components.

This is a very nice analogy for stimulant psychosis, in which excessive stimulation of various physiological processes degrades the conditions that neurons fire in. Amphetamines come in through dopamine transporters, and into synaptic vesicles collapsing the vesicular PH gradient causing VMAT 1 & 2 release dopamine. It’s almost like overclocking, because now the neuron is no longer waiting for the proper conditions to fire dopamine. This deregulation is great for motivation, but bad for overall cognitive performance. This excess of dopamine can cause a structural breakdown of the brains dopamine systems, as well as damaging many other systems through second hand effects. Dopamine is the primary route of Amphetamines excitotoxicity, but it has similar effects on adrenalin and seratonin release, causing SLUDE syndrome, hyponatremia, hyperthermia.

As for the case of Adderal and Meth being two different drugs. Adderal is four different salts, all of which contain methamphetamines active enantiomer dextroamphetamine. The variety of salts that compose Adderal, and its route of administration result in a prolonged release of the exact same phychoactive compound, and an Adderal overdose is indistinguishable from a meth high, except it will take longer to go away.

All four salts of Adderal result in the same two psychoactive compounds at varying metabolic pathways. Adderall uses some rather inert organic compounds such as Saccharic acid and sulfate to distribute the release through a few different processes, that all result in the same two active compounds freely floating in the bloodstream. The fact is, dextroamphetamine is one hell of a drug, and they aren’t going to replace it any time soon just because of stigma.

Adderal is generally given around 30mg, and the variety of salts support a sustained release, while recreational Meth users use 200mg to up to a gram in a night. A gram cost around 80usd, and the effects of stimulant psychosis are in full speed at this point, where they make users make garbage financial decisions, and act like idiots, because their faculties for critical judgement have been stripped out by constant stimulation. Smoking and mainlining meth is also a huge issue, by dodging first pass metabolism, this can result in hundreds times more dextro-amphetamine in the blood stream than a doctor prescribed dose of adderal.

amphetamines aren’t all that great. they make you dizzy, and make your heart race, and if you take more than just a little, it can make your pee burn coming out. the positive benefits are… okay I guess. they keep you from sleeping, so you don’t have to sleep as much, but on the other hand you can’t sleep as much. they’re an appetite suppressant, so you’ll probably lose weight… but you won’t be able to enjoy eating as much. it’s easier to get up and go, but harder to do anything that requires a lot of inactivity.

it’s probably just having an abnormal brain, but they never even felt a little euphoric to me. statistically, they’re less likely to get the average person addicted than coffee. and no, methamphetamine is not amphetamine. not even close. meth has a methane group stuck on it, which makes it orders of magnitude stronger and faster onset, kind of like warming your hands by sticking them into a bonfire.

Eggs are rich in memory enhancing neurostimulants. 2 of these in the morning and a little exercise alone will produce noticeable results.
A lot of stuff your brain needs is made through mechanical muscle movement. Aerobic particularly, lactic acid is brain poison, and makes body builders buy alkaline water machines. 30 minutes walking is more than enough, and during this time you will notice yourself recollecting important and even inspirational things

Wow! Thanks for all the info. I’ll be sure to give all this a try. You know I do notice that when I go for walks I get inspiration :)

Sage will definitely give you a little energy, but memory is a pretty complex thing that takes something rather strong, or a multi end approach to improve. Geez this could be decent, but in all my memory and alertness research I never ran into it.

At the GNC I got this cute little product called Orb. It has Huperzine A and Cognizen which sold me already. Some caffiene and fish oil too. There is Focus Formula and stuff too, I’d have to make a thread about all this.

Lots of choline comes from eggs and beef, and it’s a vital element to memory enhancing substances so if you’re real serious I’d get choline suppliment with Orb. You’ll end up spending around 30-40usd a month for notably enhanced memory.

Choline refers to a group of ammonium salts, a very slippery, stacked salt that facilitates in high speed neurotransmitter transfer. It’s nerve grease, and more complex structures like the frontal lobe and spindle neurons use it the most. This means a stronger information transfer to your memory encoding devices (hippocampus, agymadala to be simple about it)

Do you know anything about sage? I’ve been taking sage tea lately, to help with my memory. I have no idea whether it really works or not, though. I mean it tastes pretty refreshing, but aside from that I haven’t noticed any changes. I prefer traditional remedies to hardcore prescriptions unless I can’t avoid it.

Some pharmacist might put “may cause drowsiness” on the bottle because they’re thinking about the possibility of the recipient rapidly coming down while driving, and this type of stimulant can have depressant effects much more rapidly in some individuals.

I for one am such a rapid drug metabolizer I’m better off taking global depressants like gabapentanoids before bed, and letting my body respond with its own stimulant responce.

@swordcat9
There is already populations that have put themselves way ‘above us’, and put many obstacles between us and equality. They have their own weaknesses; delusions of grandeur and enlightenment, misery exacerbated by stimulant psychosis, and unrealistic expectations. They have no problem getting these drugs, but death is their only way out.

If dehydration, and abusive dosing can be avoided, it is one of the most powerful cognitive enhancers known to man, followed by inducers of choline and brain derived neurotropic growth factor including Cognizen, and Omberacetam.

I’ve heard a theory that drugs like this are what will change humanity as a species in the centuries to come. The theory goes that we won’t need human augmentation to transform us as a species, we’ll end up ‘‘evolving’’ our brains using drugs instead. To be honest it has me kind of worried, I’ve heard people who don’t have any real reason to take adderall are taking it anyway, just to get ahead. I don’t think it’s right to get so competative over who thinks better, faster etc, that path leads nowhere good. People should just be themselves. Too much competition will mean everyone will have to start taking it.

It is one of the most global, and powerful stimulants on the body, working on the ionitropic glutamate receptors in the same fashion as AMPA, producing fast, excitatory post synaptic potentials, by signalling for the uptake of sodium, and potassium through non-selective cationic channels.

One of the biggest problems facing these drugs is the electrolyte abnormalities they can cause, with extreme dehydration following the depletion of Na+ and K+ cations, and malnutrition following the disrupted sense of hunger with the raised basal metabolic rate. Oh and addiction ofc, because these are some of the best drugs you’ll ever experience, and the weak that think coffee and weed are powerful drugs will lose their minds over getting it after one taste.

Adderal distinguishes itself from Methamphetamine by several weaker salts of amphetamine that disperse themselves through several pathways, where Methamphetamine is designed to go wherever the wind takes it, as a 1:1 racemic mixture of levo, and dextro amphetamine.
