So for Inktober I figured I’d just upload a sketch dump rather than do anything specific to Inktober, because I’ve always really thought behind-the-scenes stuff was cool :D
Basically, when I’ve got a bit of time to kill and aren’t actively working on an image, I’ll just sketch random stuff to basically throw stuff at the wall and see what sticks. This is actually one of my few rare on-model sketches too, which is why I picked it. I could directly vector every single one of these and they’d look decent, while a lot of my sketches are really quick and messy.
In fact, save for the Ink Pony which I threw in at the last minute just to make a joke, every single one of these sketches are actually now part of an image, save for the hydra one that I’ve just started drawing (I’m drawing additional heads and including Spike in it :P)
So from left to right we have:
-The base sketch that was the Keychain Pony:
-A very happy Ponkamena, who’s now a Rattleponk :D
-A simple sketch of Pinkie being Pinkie :P
-A literal ink pony so you can’t argue there’s no ink in the picture XD

-A female hydra based on Grim Matchstick from Cuphead :P

And the happy Ponkamena evolved into a Rattleponk :D
Oh man I could never actually color a sketch I made and make it look even remotely decent :P
@PegaSUS
I love me goo ponies that do actually gooey things like shapeshift, melt, stretch, etc :D
Hydra’s really nice as well! :D Haven’t played Cuphead personally, but the clips I’ve seen of that boss are pretty swell.
Ahh, I can usually get sketches down pretty neatly, but when I ink the drawing, most of the time I have some sort of issue because the lines look pretty messy. :(
Specifically, it was a Rule 34 pic someone linked to me XD
It couldn’t hurt to link it, and you’ll see right away (especially in the finished pic) that I really tried to emulate the eyes :P
I’m going to name the heads Match, Pan, and Serpentine, after the parts of a Matchlock Rifle and to reference what she was based on :D
@Binkyt11
Thanks! :D
Personally I’ve never been too fond of my sketches since they’re always so messy. I can’t draw a straight line to save my own life XD

A brawl is surely brewing. . . .
