She is strategically covered XD (and on a more serious note, the nudity is purelly artistic, signifying vulnerability, rather than in any way erotic. Adam and Eve are also nude in children books, only strategically covered by stuff).

I just don’t get your anger at Twilight here - she didn’t even tell anything bad, in context, she wanted to say something nice - it’s Sunset who described her own dress, after being ponified, a “translation error”. You know self-deprecation…

Also, if you like Sunset - you aware that in canon, she is imcreadibly devoted to Twilight, right? Just watch Morror Magic, or even read Sunset’s official faebook statement by Hasbro, to see it’s still the case:  
My friend Twilight Sparkle was there for me, and now it’s my turn to be there for her. — Sunset Shimmer
 
And to be clear, Twilight returns that devotion, as Sunset is her beloved student - in comics, she keeps Sunset’s picture in her castle, while not, for example aarently keeping of of Flash.  

 
Again, Twilight visibly cares more for Sunset, than even for Flash (I think) - from Legend of Everfree, it seems Twilight resigned with the relationship with Flash due to the long distance but never resigned from her friendship, and communication with Sunset.
 
In retrospect Twilight might have given Starlight chance at redeemption as her student, because of her expiriences with Sunset in the first two movies. Again, it’s just my theory, but it kina comes of this way.
 
Twilight also parenty fairly imidatelly after solving the Starlight time-travel crisis, went to help Sunset in the human world. So yes, they are devoted to each-other.
