Description
This fall, My Little Pony: The Movie hits theaters, and this prequel mini-series is your first look at the fantastic adventure to come! Danger looms over Equestria as a new villain debuts!
How were they able to just waltz in in their one flagship?
Does Equestria not have a standing defense force or anything?
Yes I am. Somethings gotta be really true in the prequel.
… Are you literally arguing with yourself?
I agree that the continent of Abyssinia was southeast of Equestria because the mysterious south reaches East I believed. I bet they have pastries in the Abyssinia. And that unknown threat that the Mane Six and Spike had fought is from Abyssinia. Rarity was right. Abyssinia is “strangely litigious.”
You Think?! I don’t care about you’re opinion. The Klugetown that Capper and Chummer went was in Bone Dry Desert. Not Abyssinia. Because the Mysterious South below Klugetown was mostly an even-temperament with large bodies of water and decent amount of vegetation, but nearby locations such as Klugetown and the Basalt Beach are almost completely barren and dry. Although Klugetown tends to be lopped in with Abyssinia, Chummer actually remarked that Bone Dry Desert, which surrounds all of Klugetown, was outside of Abyssinia’s borders because Chummer said to Capper, “Maybe we should’ve stayed in Abyssinia.” That mal has gotta be true!
Most maps aren’t.
Ah, I see.
I know. And I was referencing the Ponies of Dark Water arc, where the Kingdom of Abyssinia also gets briefly talked about. ;)
I was quoting Glass of Water, but sure XD
And are oddly litigious?
Yes. I heard they have good pastries there.
So… Did you ever end up checking? :P
Yes, that’s it. I thought it was north, will check tonight
I don’t think they specify which direction it lies in, but if they do I’m pretty sure it isn’t north. North would put it in the Frozen North… I imagined it was east, but I’m not sure that was actually said.
That being said, they never specified for sure what Prance itself was, or if it really was a pony nation. Celestia visited the city state of Monacolt, which was a coastal territory by Prance. Prance could be a horseland like Saddle Arabia.
I like to think “eastern unicorns” are just the ones in Monacolt.
Maretonia.
They’re based on a North African land.

your current filter. And as Background Human mentioned, wherever the “asian-looking” ponies are from.

@Background Human
Both lands are probably on the other side of the planet.
I thought the Crystal Empire is what is north of Equestria. Unless CE is technically a part of Equestria and that Prance is further north.
I wonder if their ponies will be any different?
Saffron Masala and her dad also appear to be from far away lands. But they look and function no different from typical Equestrian ponies.

your current filter.Twi said something about eastern unicorns. I don’t think she meant Manehattan.
If you go by the Journal of the Two Sisters, there’s at least the alicorn homeland out there somewhere.
One of the Berrow novels features the nation of Prance which lies north of Equestria.

You think it’s possible Equestria isn’t the only Pony nation on their planet?
