Description
This was bound to happen sooner or later. A little vent art/political cartoon about one of the most common ways we are forced to interact with those who work for the government – specifically those who dress up in blue and extort some money from those who commit “victimless crimes.” At least RD has a friend to record the encounter.
Matured for language and for those of you who believe the religious propaganda about police always being the good guys, no matter what.
WARNING: DO NOT try this with an actual cop at an actual traffic stop. This is for informational and entertainment purposes only.

is there any finer entertainment than watching YouTube videos of adult toddlers getting pepper sprayed and tazed and thrown into grownup timeout because they decided to throw a “ME ME ME I DON’T CARE ABOUT OTHER PEOPLE I DON’T LIKE RULES!!!” tantrum?
Edited because: Being dumb
Speeding just straight isn’t safe.
But it’s job security for me.
This form of drama will never end.
People living in western countries have it easier, you actually have rights. Believe me, people in eastern European countries don’t. In places like that, you can’t even record them with a phone. It’s like a prison and they are your prison wardens.
Consider yourself lucky to be able to question or argue a policeman and not be arrested for it, on principal.
Sorry, I didn’t see your comment prior to posting. My involvement ends here.
Comparing gun violence to car accidents is still a dumber comparison than the Sega vs. Nintendo rivalry of the 1990s.
Let’s drop this before the mods get involved again; or if you’re going to beat this dead horse with a stick, at least take this conversation to the politics thread in the forums, or you can PM me.
The point still stands, though. Just because an action didn’t lead to something catastrophic in one particular instance doesn’t mean that action has no associated risks whatsoever. It’s a well established fact that driving at high speeds is far more dangerous than driving at a lower speed.
Comparing cars to guns, huh? Wooooooooooooooooow!
Very well. I’m going to walk into the street and start randomly firing a gun. It’ll only kill someone if it hits something.
A risk doesn’t dissappear just because the worst possible outcome does not occur.
@Background Pony #869F
Agreed. I’ve seen way too much of that on the news.
It always does when you don’t expect it to though.
Only if it actually hits something or someone.
Well, I don’t mind a debate, per se, but we’re in the wrong place for one. As the mods keep saying, and I actually agree with them for once, we need to take this to the politics thread (or just STFU about it.)
Like Prometheushunter2 said below, there’s no reason not to expect political discourse on an image with obvious political undertones. That’s just how the internet works.
