I mean more for the tone of the comic; it went from feeling bad for Spike, to “BAM! FEEL-GOOD MOMENT SURROUNDED BY FRIENDS!”, particular more painful with how we know it’ll go from this cheerful state to sad again, in a matter of pages… heck, maybe even on the next page.

I kind of want next page to feature Spike turning his head and find 00284 in the bed next to his, with Fluttershy tending to her wounds. I like the idea of the RD crew saving her to gain useful info.

It would work but only if she quite literally had augmentations to her body from all the damage that was done to it. Remember, Spike stepped on her torso, crunched SOMETHING that instantly horribly bruised her entire torso and made blood shoot out of her mouth, before grabbing her by the head and neck and throwing her.
 
Depending on how Pia and the writers plan this, IF she comes back, she will need a lot of rebuilt body parts.

Anyway, you got a good point. Who knows how long it’s been since she have seen the opposite sex in the buff–even more so that she’s a medic. And stupidly I failed to remember that before Spike, it probably was exclusively mares on the ship, so female nudity to a fellow female isn’t that bad. Embarrassing perhaps, but not bad–after all they all have the same equipment, even though size can vary greatly.
 
Again, thanks for pointing that out. I tend to comment pretty quickly, like when it’s just coming off the top of my head. I have to put to paper or otherwise mention it, or I forget it. Shouldn’t hurt to proofread the comment myself, eh?

There is a difference to seeing nudity of your gender to seeing nudity from a different gender. XD

Do I see a slight blush on Rainbow Dash??? She does, doesn’t she?? Aww, that is so cute of her…
 
And Spike’s definitely giving the girls one hell of a show (and it’s not what Beserker Spike did to Nihashi and her crew that is my referring to).
 
Also, even though it’s Fluttershy’s room (obvious with all the pictures of animals), there’s no Fluttershy–I have to assume either she’s just out of the shot and she’s doing her nurse/doctor thing monitoring Spike, or that she fainted from seeing Spike in the Buff (which is kinda hypocritical to her considering she probably sees Pinkie all the time)
 
And of course, Twilight’s seeing Spike from a camera–good continuity of Twilight’s paranoia and being in her room a lot…
