It would work but only if she quite literally had augmentations to her body from all the damage that was done to it. Remember, Spike stepped on her torso, crunched **SOMETHING[** that instantly horribly bruised her entire torso and made blood shoot out of her mouth, before grabbing her by the head and neck and throwing her.


 
Depending on how Pia and the writers plan this, IF she comes back, she will need a lot of rebuilt body parts.
