Friendship games crashed and burned; this is a commonly known fact. But the equestria girls minis started selling like crazy when they released it.
As such, it seems likely that they might be able to get the EQG franchise to rebound itself if they fix the three glaring problems that the FG line had (First, The toys were released way too early before the movie, Second, the movie was a drop down in quality from Rainbow rocks, and three the Toys for FG looked like ass compared to the Minis, so they’re shifting most of their focus now to the mini line)
That only prove Hasbro have money to waste on an uncreative spin-off that is underperforming and constantly loosing steam.I think there was a financial report somewhere that showed exactly that
