Btw, if you rotate your forearm right and left with other hand, you can kinda repeat this feeling. Given enough imagination, one can easily imagine splitting a forearm in two and having 2 fingers on one part and 3 on other, like General Grievous did.

Yes, I know, but growing a hand from a hoof would be like putting them together, adding 4 bones to each finger and dividing them again.
they still have the five digit form underneath the hoof. it’d be like if all of your fingers were stuck together.
