I was always wondering how it would affect their ability to do their magic or even telekinesis.
Yeah, considering that the Pipbuck is such a crutch for the user.
 
Well thanks to the movie, we already know a broken horn doesnt mean a completely lost of use of magic, but it just becomes volatile and unstable.
 
And in my opinion, a new inspiring vault dweller wasterlander’s main weakness is the removal of its Pipbuck. This needs to be implemented in new fics as a “Welcome to the wastelander’s true life” from the villain.

Yeah, ever since the movie, we have a solid understanding of what would happen if there was a broken horn.
 
That would be a good way to telling that a stable dweller is nothing without their Pipbuck in the wasteland.

I wonder who some characters might be descendants of… I already showed Blossom (from Ask Taint Fare) could be descended from Skeedaddle, but who else is there? Threnody looks a lot like Sandy Hooves except she’s a pegasus, so would they be distantly related somehow?

Oh there is nothing wrong at all with the fic, but it explains why I do want more lore about the Enclave, also about Enclave soldiers as protagonists, except not being “good ol survivors that want to help the innocent”, but the ones that still work for the Enclave.

Apparently, the fic is featured along side Pinky Eyes and Proyect Horizonts. I dont know if its really mega popular, or because Kkat “approved” it.
 
Honestly, I dont understand the meaning about Kkat approving a FOE fic. What you gain for that?

I dunno. I mean an approved seal from the original author of FoE is like Kkat just liking the story. It’s just a really high-profile admiration of the story. I don’t think it really gives any indication of canon from Kkat. Hell I know Kkat likes seeing their world written in a different way or even more to the world that they created. As for the case of PE and PH, it’s just the fact that they were very early FoE stories that Kkat didn’t have a fuck ton of fics to sort through compared to today.

Also, why do people upload so little of Puppysmiles? Is there a particular reason?
 
Because is not that popular compared to Proyect Horizonts or the original FOE, and because its popularity decreased by the time, contrary to PH, because how long it was, and the FOE, because the first one.
 
Sometimes Murky Number Seven or Heroes, but no somuch compared to the previous both.
