“muscles” could be repurposed into meaning exposed muscle tissue, and use “muscular” for the physical condition, aliasing from “swole” and “ripped”.

true. i think it should be cleaned up to maybe focus on the two criteria i noted: bright, saturated colors and flashing lights. i can go clean up the tag right now.
 
usually i tag anything that would hurt my eyes looking at it on dark mode - these images commonly send me into a sensory overload as well. that sometimes ends up applying to flat white backgrounds.
 
i’m going to change my mind once again and say it should imply eyestrain warning, not be aliased to it.

Out of curiosity, do we only use rupert for scenes where he’s explicitly named as such, or do we do what we do with background ponies and use the name every time that specific model with that specific color appears?

On another note: an anonymous used has been mass tagging pictures with blue jays in them with mordecai. Again.

Why doesn’t invisible stallion imply suggestive? It seems kinda obvious that it should, also that the tag description should include a note about not putting it on unedited screencaps.

Does the style emulation tag apply to an artist drawing MLP characters in their own style that also happens to be the style of another series?
 
I’m thinking specifically of >>1812623 and >>319964 . Both by Dana Simpson aka Pedantia aka the author/artist of the comic strip Phoebe and Her Unicorn. In those pics, Pedantia draws the ponies in the same style as the unicorns from her own comic: tall and noodly, with classical unicorn design elements. But if you browse her artist tag, she also does a lot of art closer to the show style. So when she does draw ponies in Phoebe and Her Unicorn-style, it’s a conscious decision, not “This is how I draw all horses.”

I’m going to say no. Style Emulation being for someone emulating someone else’s style. Instead of their own style from another series. Since that would still be their own style.
 
I think the description would need a clarification. For it being a series not done by yourself. Will let others weigh in on topic.

Could we PLEASE come up with a better name for our “more accurately sized crotchboobs” tag than teats? There are over 200 images tagged with “teats, impossibly large crotchboobs, solo”. With maybe a handful of exceptions where a character has asymmetrical crotchboobs, all of these images are mistagged. Over 7% of image with the teats tag also have the impossibly large crotchboobs tag.
 
Clearly, there’s a significant number of people who are using teats as a synonym for crotchboobs, which is an understandable mistake because that’s how it’s used elsewhere, such as e621. If teats were aliased to something like reasonably sized crotchboobs (like the already-existing reasonably sized breasts tag), maybe more people would realize their mistake.

If it was up to me, we wouldn’t be calling them crotchboobs at all.
 
But that’s just my opinion, I don’t actually know what the best solution here is.

Looking at the the tag changes for teats, it looks like a large portion of those mistags are coming from one user.

I noticed the tag for Kindverse is a different shade than most others. Any explanation why?

This tag would be used whenever people don’t know if it’s a real leak or a troll/false.

There’s lots of images on the site that are “speculative” about future things that might or might not happen on the show.
 
As for the image that spawned this discussion, if someone created that image to troll, labeling it “possible leak” doesn’t do anything except make people more excited about it which just rewards the troll (“Ooo - the mystery”) and doesn’t give people anything tangible to filter or watch. You’ll end up with blatant fakes being tagged “possible leak” because people are trying to stir up drama.
 
On the other hand, tagging the episodes it’s making claims about does let people filter spoilers, or watch for speculation about those episodes.
 
For that specific image, it doesn’t matter whether it’s a “real leak” or a “fake leak” - an image someone shared on Discord isn’t “proof”, and there’s no evidence supporting either claim. On top of which, even if it was an iTunes slip-up there’s no reason to believe that they won’t either split the season into additional volumes when they master the BluRays, or that the descriptions might not change because “targeting indicated significant shopper basket penetration with this phrase instead”.
 
And in the end, you can’t buy what it’s advertising today, so the claims it is making are therefore “Fake” today.
 
Of course, if you want to see what will happen with what that image is speculating about, you can subscribe to Volume 15 of My Little Pony on iTunes and when the episodes become available you will find out what is real and what isn’t. Maybe all those episodes will be in that order in Volume 15 on iTunes. Maybe they won’t.
 
Either way, I don’t see the value in creating a new tag just for that.
