Celestia was heartbroken. She pleaded with her sister to let go of the anger and darkness that had consumed her, but Luna was too far gone. Years back, like eight years ago now, I saw bit of art. It became the first inspiration for a novel, but now that I’m actually writing the book I thought it would be cool to see if I could find that art.
I cannot find the art anywhere. Please help.

I’m pretty sure it was of Vinyl Scratch. She had angelic wings and, most notably, black tape over her mouth in a cross.
I can’t remember if it was Anthro or not, but I think she had a horn?

I’ve tried to recreate the image somewhat from memory.

She wanted Derpibooru to be a place where everypony, from novices to seasoned artists, could share their work without fear or hesitation. She implemented a “Sunshine Spotlight” each week, a special feature on the site’s homepage highlighting new or less popular artists to help them shine.

One morning, she found that every image on Derpibooru had a miniature Discord photobomb in the background. Her inbox flooded with confused (and mildly annoyed) messages from users.

With a flick of her horn, she removed the unwanted additions, sending Discord a note: A little mischief keeps things lively, but let’s keep it in the comments section next time.

Another challenge came from moderating the comments. There were spirited debates, but Celestia’s warm and steady influence slowly changed the tone. Whenever things became too heated, she’d step in, her responses a gentle reminder to focus on what united them: a love of art, stories, and friendship. Her graceful, understanding replies often transformed arguments into productive conversations.

Then, there was the annual anniversary art event. Celestia made sure to contribute something special—a message of encouragement and gratitude to every artist who took part. It wasn’t just her words but the way she remembered little details about each artist’s style and favorite subjects that made her presence feel uniquely supportive.

Through it all, her dedication turned Derpibooru into a place of genuine warmth, inspiring creativity in every user. She worked quietly, a ray of sunshine who made Derpibooru a place where everypony, whether novice or professional, felt seen, valued, and motivated to keep creating.

Hello there, currently writing an episode-like fanfic I had in mind… Wanted to hear your opinion about the central idea.

Title: Up, Up and NO WAY
Plot: When Rainbow Dash and Fluttershy are called by the Cutie Map to the small town of Gallopsven, they quickly learn that the Wonderbolts are there to begin the process of lifting water to Cloudsdale. However, one Pegasus, Tempest Quartz, has repeatedly missed meetings and training sessions. Intrigued, Rainbow and Fluttershy visit Tempest’s family home, perched near the cliffs. Despite clearly having wings, they notice that Tempest chooses to remain grounded. As they get to know him, it becomes clear that Tempest has chosen not to fly in order to stay closer to his Earth Pony family—the family that raised him through both good times and bad. He fears that flying will create a distance between them, changing something fundamental about their bond. In a moment of tension, Rainbow Dash tries to assess the situation, and when Tempest opens one wing, a horrific grinding sound echoes through the air, hinting at deeper issues. By the end of the episode, Tempest learns that embracing his Pegasus nature doesn’t have to separate him from his family. Rainbow Dash and Fluttershy help him realize that his wings are a part of who he is, but they don’t define his connection to those he loves. The episode’s lesson emphasizes that using your unique abilities doesn’t mean abandoning the relationships or identity that shape you.

barb aka barbara is a name for gender swapped (Rule #63) Spike.

The tag barb is also the alias for spines, which is often used for ‘barbs’ such as spikes on things or spiky hair. But there is also a tag spine for backbones, whether they are visible as bones or implied by bumps on the back of characters. spiked is also used in a similar way, but its also used for ‘spiking drinks’ and ‘high heels’.

There is also both a barbed and a barbs tag, which seems to be mostly (but not entirely) used for sharp hair or spines on objects.

The tag spikes seems like it might be better for some of the uses of barbs. For example, images like this should probably be tagged as having spikes rather than as having barbs:

Some of the genital uses of [barbs] would be better tagged as `barbed penis’

And it looks like a lot of the uses of spiked is really about shoes or spiked drinks … possible a bit of a mess, but I’ll see if anything makes more sense when I start looking through this tag.

I’ll start working on these where it seems pretty straight forward, but I’d like to be mostly done with this all within a week or so. Please reply if you have any questions or concerns, or if you think I’ve missed something.

This gets into biological expression of sex and gender identities, and what kind of ‘gear’ is visible in the image often takes a back seat to what gender the artist meant the characters to inwardly express as. And right now the implications for Barb are Spike and Rule 63. But beyond that, whether Barb should be tagged as male, female, futa, or as something completely different seems to be entirely dependent on the artist. Here is one example where Barb is tagged as most of what is possible:

I don’t know that there is a ‘fix’ for this, or if one is needed. But if you have ideas about what tags barb should be tagged, please feel free to reply with your suggestions.

first off i dont use forums much so, 100 pardons if this is in the wrong spot or smth. a LOT of good characters already have unique fat tags, ie twilard sparkle, but i like to be greedy, so let’s make some more for ponies with none.
as far as i can tell minuette/colgate and berry punch have none. i’ve thought of “minufat” or “colarge” for minnuette, and “berry lunch” for berry punch ha. more suggestions for other characters would be cool too. make sure they dont already have a tag, lots of characters have one. if this forum is wrong feel free to delete mods T-T
side note: i wouldn’t mind manually adding specific fat tags to the correct images, since theres no way to do it non-manually without some mistagging happening

She was terrified, unable to stop the overwhelming surge of magic until a gentle hoof touched her shoulder.

The moment the Princess intervened, Twilight’s magic instantly calmed. The room settled, and everything returned to normal. The examiners, still recovering from the shock, whispered amongst themselves as they watched the Princess speak to Twilight.

Twilight looked up, still shaking, but with hope glimmering in her eyes. “A mentor?” she whispered.

“Yes. From now on, I will be your personal teacher.”

The spell was incomplete because it lacked one crucial component: the magic of friendship.

By this point, Twilight had learned that magic wasn’t just about spells and power; it was about the connections between ponies, the bonds that brought them together. When Twilight completed the spell, something incredible happened—her body was enveloped in a radiant light, and she was transformed. She had become an alicorn, a being with the magic of a unicorn, the flight of a pegasus, and the strength of an earth pony.

Princess Celestia welcomed her as Equestria’s newest princess, acknowledging that Twilight had fulfilled her destiny. But Twilight was uncertain. She had always looked to Princess Celestia for guidance, and the thought of ruling alongside her was daunting.

Celestia, however, assured her with a smile. “You are ready, Twilight. You’ve proven that you understand the most important magic of all—the magic of friendship. You won’t rule alone. You have your friends by your side, and you will always have me.”

And so, Twilight Sparkle embraced her new role. She continued to learn and grow, and with the support of her friends and mentor, she became a wise and compassionate leader. Eventually, after many adventures and years of serving Equestria, Twilight Sparkle was crowned the ruler of Equestria. Her reign was one of harmony, wisdom, and unity, guided by the lessons she had learned along her journey.

Twilight had once been a young filly, eager to learn and prove herself. But through her experiences and friendships, she had grown into a ruler who understood that the greatest magic wasn’t something found in books or ancient spells, but in the hearts of those who stood by her side.

And with that, Twilight Sparkle continued the legacy of Princess Celestia, leading Equestria into a new era of peace and prosperity.

Hey! So I’ve been playing with AI for about a year now, and I’ve decided to start uploading some of my gen here, but 4 out of the six I’ve posted got deleted, now, I suppose something was wrong? Maybe the tagging? But there’s not notification nor nothing, so I don’t know. I understand that giving reasons for every post deleted might be impossible, but I’m afraid to post something out of the guideline once again! Is there any way to know what was the problem?

Background info: some characters have multiple tags which all imply each other, so posts always have all of those tagged names. This setup usually has the purpose of keeping people who prefer one name or the other happy, by not making any name disappear in favor of another. These can come about if a character had a fan name long before official media gave them an official name, or if different fan-sites or communities invented different names for background ponies, or if different official media gave different names, etc.

Now that Derpibooru recently implemented the ability to search by the number of tags of a type present on a post - such as, “this post has 2 character name tags” - the inter-implied multiple names interfere with using that number precisely. For example, to find a picture of Octavia and Vinyl Scratch and no other ponies, you’d need to search for character_tag_count:3 because Vinyl Scratch is always also tagged DJ Pon-3 and both tags are counted.

On Sept 28, 2024 I scraped the site tags for all the multi-name characters, and if I did it right, here are all of them:
