A word to the wise if you DO plan on watching any of 7, the episodes with Ace as a companion tend to be better than his earlier episodes (with Mel).
Sylvester McCoy sort of retooled his take on the character partway through and made the Seven a much more machiavellian Doctor.
Not to mention there’s Seven’s unique umbrella. I haven’t seen any episodes with him, but I know of that one part where he’s hanging from his umbrella at a crystalline area.

I’m not sure. I know that said car chase ended up taking up the entire running time of one part of the serial it was in, and kind of interrupted the plot of said serial…
No, the Chase was about the Daleks tracking down the TARDIS wherever it happened to land in an attempt to assassinate the Doctor.
Not sure about the episode with a car chase. Was that also Hartnell?
