I’m not a shipper, but this right here is an example of how anti-shipping can be just as ridiculous as the opposite.
Yes, harsh I know. But its the truth and it needed to be said.
That was somewhat harsh. I understand what you mean, but sometimes the comics go over board with it. What I expect is Spike to tell them about what happened to Twilight first, bitter about their friendship second and then any sparity last.
If you want to see something new and original in trends that come with less obligation to reflect anything established in canon, then complain about how every picture or story featuring Twilight and Trixie scarcely allows Trixie to deal with Spike instead (let alone exist in the same universe as Spike). Or perhaps all the humanized images that turn Twilight into a stylish mage and Spike into either an adorable lizard or a ferocious beast, but never… and I mean freaking NEVER …draw Twilight as a magical steed and Spike as a humanoid.
Gee, it’s almost like they are being faithful to the source material. Did you know some comics make Rainbow Dash FLY? Come on, guys. A little originality, plz.

At least that’s the story she tells everyone. She actually just broke her leg on his skull.
