Words cannot describe how much I love this. Ivory in her smart looking suit; Cider actually in a dress being beautiful; the way the two stand next to each other; their cheeky remarks; all of it prefect for the eye!

I guess we’re just going to have to disagree. Maybe it’s my headcanon, but I just don’t see Ivory talking like that. Of course if Siden says yes, she does talk like that, I will change my headcanon.

My only complaint is how Ivory speaks in her first speech bubble. “It’s not wise”. It’s a surprisingly pretentious way for a very unpretentious character to speak. I know she’s being playful, but she can still get that playfulness across without the fruity language.
 
I disagree. She’s dressed up more than she usually is, so she playfully says something that plays up to the image she’s currently projecting.

It’s almost certainly the stuffy high class plus lower class thing. Why would they have a problem with lesbians but be okay with her hiring a female hooker… which would imply the same thing?

But why not just say she’s your girlfriend? One of two reasons. The high end stuffy crowd don’t like to see their own in relationships with people they perceive as lower class BUT they allow them as non committal escorts.  
Or, this universe’s high class has a problem with lesbians.
