Personally, I’d rather coil Octavia up.
 
I’d put her in a half-hypnotized state where she’s semi-aware of what’s going on, and bring out her wild side using hypnosis. Basically, see what Octavia would be like without her inhibitions.

    Also what’s the fun in vore if you’re in a trance and don’t even know it’s happening?  
    Even then if she ever changed her mind within the scenario she could easily get out.
     
    Personally I don’t really care, I wish for more Tavi-pred but that doesn’t really seem to be in popular demand it’s just an image that can be interpreted however an individual sees fit, I personally came in to ruin the fun with some logic, because the fandom absolutely hates that only thing I wanna know is what’s with the laughter?

I never got the whole “Snake Hypnosis” thing, yes it’s appeared in legends, and some media. But mostly in either children’s media as some form of a metaphor, or in the legends the serpent had some sort of special quality to it.
 
Also with the way hypnotic trances work (in this kind of scenario), Octavia would be awake before the digestive acids even touched her to any degree (judging by size-difference, complete digestion would take 24-72 hours) and she’d be able to force her way out. R.I.P Snake.
